Marketing Assistant - New Orleans Saints (New Orleans, LA)


Reports to: VP of Marketing
Overall Responsibility: Multiple areas of responsibility within the Marketing department; this position provides administrative and clerical support to the VP of Marketing and other various departments such as Entertainment, Public Relations, Youth Programs and Community Affairs.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities: • Responsible for reception and telephone duties. • Performs such duties as typing, filing, coordination of meeting and conferences, obtaining supplies, sorting and distributing daily mail, answering non-routine correspondence and other special projects. • Assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. • Establishes, maintains, and updates filing system for VP of Marketing and the Marketing Department. • Coordinates various Marketing activities and projects. • Game-day duties as designated by the Marketing Department. • Deals with diverse group of external callers and visitors. • Act as liaison with other internal departments. • Assist as deemed necessary by the VP of Marketing and/or other Department Heads.

Skills and Attributes: • Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize workload. • Excellent public relations & interpersonal communication skills. • Strong organizational skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Skilled in multi tasking. • Dependable and conscientious. • Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.

Experience Requirement: College degree preferred with concentration of study in marketing and/or business.

Hours: 40+ hours per week; requires week-end and game-day hours.
