deja vu from when we first met here on BGOL years ago.

that must've been 2002, because if KG had still been with the nets, i would've had a good foot in the door for you.

I was talking to my man who works for the Nets organization and he doesn't like the move to BK one bit. The Nets might hit him with a nice severance package and let him go.

I'm still curious how they are going to amke this happen.

Tell your friend not to quit. They will be playing in a section of
Brooklyn that is minutes away from the World Trade center....

minutes.

The Long Island railroad (LIRR) goes from Port Authority (Times
Square) to Jamaica Queens in less than 30 minutes. There is a
major LIRR stop down the block from the Nets arena at Atlantic
Avenue station. If he is from NJ, he will be at Port Authority
in 15 minutes (or less) and can catch any NJ Transit from there

Every major subway stops there as well (except the A Train)

Where he gets screwed is that NJ Transit doesn't run as frequent between the hours of 10PM-12:43AM. Ater that time, you either take the Path or you're stranded.

Once you're in NYC you're fine..getting to/coming from Jersey is a different story. They need to fix that.

Thanks for posting. I'll be applying for this ASAP. On paper it looks like a great fit, let's see if I get a call back..

I know the people who have similar jobs with the Nets, the hours are a killer that why they left but the opportunities are real. If you are a minority I woould encourage you to apply because they are looking for qualified applicants

Google the following names before you go into the interview to know who you are dealing with

Brett Yormark

Leo Erhline

Perta Pope

The move to brooklyn is a good one and yeah some of the New Jersey people may not make the transition but that will mean more opportunities in sports marketing for people from NYC and particularly Brooklyn that have very little shot at getting in MSG right now.

If I getting anymore word about this I willpost it

Good luck to all
