Palace Sports and Entertainment Service Company (Detroit Pistons)-Website Coordinator


Palace Sports and Entertainment Service Company is looking for a fulltime Website Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING;

1. Update content sections on all Palace Sports & Entertainment web sites (Pistons, Shock, Palacenet.com, etc…)

2. Responsible for editing, designing and publishing content on web sites.

3. Help generate and see through new content ideas for PS&E web sites.

4. Help troubleshoot and solve technical problems with web sites.

5. Take and edit digital photos for use on web sites.

6. Develop and implement online promotions.

7. Manage web event database.

8. Serve as the "Content Manager" for NBA and WNBA team sites.

9. Assist with multimedia content areas of the web site.

10. Recruit, supervise, and train interns for the Web Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sport Management, Marketing or Computer Science.

2. A minimum of one year’s experience in Web Design is strongly preferred.

3. Candidates should have good communication skills including writing and editing ability.

4. Experience updating and maintaining sites using FTP or other means.

5. Prior experience creating graphics with software such as Adobe Photoshop.

6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet, and E-mail, HTML, and Adobe Photoshop is required

7. Knowledge of HTML programming is required.

8. Knowledge of JavaScript, Cold Fusion and Flash is a plus.

9. Candidates must be able to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

10. Ability to handle highly confidential information is required
