@playahaitian come out of retirement and give this one a try.
It ain't nothin' nice. Got my blood pressure up. Haha.

My final guess was only one letter off from the actual country. I thought the shape looked like one of Australia's provinces so I put AU as a guess to get distance and direction of how far off I was until I arrived to the right part of the globe. I just ran out of guesses and I really need to look at a map again these days.

What was your first guess Bruh? You got one green and I got none...I'm curious. Mine was HOUSE.

Again, my tactic is to use common vowel combinations as a process of elimation and E, O, and U were out of the equation.

I took it from @playahaitian as one of three word openers to increase my correct chances.
I rotate these openers daily as the algorithm most likely won't use the same letter combinations from the previous day. Or at least that's what I suspect.
I'm more concerned with getting the correct consonants versus vowels as there are only 6 vowels to correctly guess a word within the 6 guesses versus 20 possible consonants as you run out of letter guesses. Worse odds. I don't like the vowel strategy.
My words are labor, child, and snout

Gotcha. Is it not easier to eliminate 6 letters as opposed to 20?
I'll have to see if I can wrap my head around using consonants as opposed to vowels...it obviously works for you.

Some may disagree but in my opinion not when you have six guesses.
It's a game of odds.

Consonants: You have 6 tries to get 5 out of 20 = Higher chances of being correct in beginning with more guesses
Vowels: You have 6 tries to get 5 out of 6 = Higher chances of being correct in the end with fewer guesses

Real shit, all of those years that I used to watch MSNBC around the clock finally paid off. That is the only place I've ever heard today's word

I agree, the goal of my first 2 guesses is to eliminate as many consonants that aren't in the word, and to narrow down the possible positions of those that are in it. I find that it gives me a better idea of the structure of the words if I figure out the consonant combinations first. Someone joked about phonics a couple of weeks ago, but that really is all it is.

That's interesting, because it may guarantee that you dont get it on the 2nd guess. After my first word, I'm trying to solve. Yes, I am trying to eliminate additional vowels. I have a cousin who uses adieu as his first word to get rid of the vowels. I told him that's over kill because statistics say D and U would not be in the word.

I read whatever link that was posted that showed the best 5 first word guesses. Yes, I use 1 and then if it allows another for the 2nd.

Although, since I'm trying to guess the word on my second guess, I dont usually get to the 2nd word from that list unless in a rare occasion, my first guess gives no letters.

I also play Wordscape on my phone everyday. I can be repetitve, but I'm always like what the heck was that word when a new one has to be used.
