JUDGE Born's WINNER IS: Skinne Talls
=========================

JUDGE iterec:

DJCandle - WINNER
This is my favorite minus the lil plug he threw in the beginning. He followed the script, took what 50
had, added the tracks to that, and kept the flow of the song going. The piano was a lil dry, maybe some
layering to make the piano "fuller". I liked the snare he chose, it fit good with the existing kick drum.
One last thing the loop got repetitive after awhile, try using multiple patterns or incorporate something
similar to a bridge or a breakdown. Lastly the mixdown was good, no added sounds were over bearing the
existing music. Like the use of sound effects too, they were slight, but added to the story that 50 was
telling. Overall this was the winner IMO.

mufasa672:
the drums were nice but the sample fought with the song, it interfered with the lyrics, the sample was
used too much throughout the song. It became annoying around 45 sec into the song. He did add the
instruments to the existing song. Mixdown was so-so, also the drum loop became monotonous midway thru the
song. Overall decent job, overkill on sample tho.

Alaskanredman:
Assuming were not judging sound quality, he slowed down 50's part to get his music to match the bpm or
quantize loop. the intro was good but really didn't fit with the song topic. Having 50's voice altered
killed the song imo, the mixdown was a flop, some instruments are much louder than others, the news
soundclips came in very loud or distorted. Didn't like this due to the fact that he changed the song rather than add to it.

Lord Vicious:
I like the drum pattern, but again he changed the song….seems like he sampled the original song, rather
than finish the beat, like 50 stated in the intro. I really like the beat by itself just not with 50 verse on it. sounds more like 4bar loop, no drops, no bridge, no flare. Simple beat lacked fullness.

Gekko:
No mixdown instruments all over the place, the strings were outta place, sounded better without the string
(chorus). Drum Pattern was cool, Song had energy…don't think energy was needed in this song. Producer needs practice, mixdown lessons, and the end…..was horrible…like someone one on American Idol who bombed out but kept singing.

largebillsonlyplease:
Worst of all the entries….sound like he recorded 50's part on a mic from a laptop speaker, instruments are
too stock sounding, the beat is boring, too many atari sounding instruments. He also changed the song,
more for the worst. Sounds like an old casio keyboard. Not knowing to play a piano, is not a problem, SOUNDING you don't know how to play….IS!!!!!!

Skinne Talls:
first off I like the track, its a little noisy, but has a moob deep feel to it. But you changed the song....you sampled the song & made a whole new beat instead of adding to what you had. The feel was grimy but, It was a no go for me

JUDGE iterec's WINNER IS: DJCandle
===================================

JUDGE KOOLKEV:

Skinnie Talls:
I give Skinnnie Talls and 8 (would have given him a 8 1/2 or even a 9 but the track needed to be clean up a bit. Good none the less. )
===========

DJCandle:
I give DJCandle a 6 (his beat is too mundane nothing unique about it.)

===========

mufasa672:
Mufassa672 gets 4 1/2 (he beat sound just like DJCandle one of these guys is biting the other guy style.)
===========

Alaskanredman:
I give Alaskanredman Beat a 6 only because of the last 40 sec of the beat was nice IMO.
============

Lord Vicious:
I give Lord Vicious Beat a 6 1/2 (Sound to familiar it nice but you can easily forget about it.)
============

Gekko:
NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
============

largebillsonlyplease:
Again NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
============

I pick Skinnie Talls as the winner.

JUDGE KOOLKEV'S WINNER IS: Skinne Talls
==================================

JUDGE TEN:

Skinne Talls:
An incredible hiphop track utilising orchestra strings and stabs.
Super tight boombap beat with a really cool snare and kick. Rappers will buy this.
Only downfall for me is it only uses a tiny section of 50cent's rap vocal, but man
is it some fly ass hiphop. Would easily had been my winner had it used more of the vocal.

Alaskanredman:
A truly creative front seat ride through the theatrics of Hip Hop.
This truly takes 50cent's vocal somewhere completetly different.
Haunting melodies, very tight beats and off the wall scratching.
Fused with psychedelic keyboard work and news audio footage.
An everything and the kitchen sink thrown in production.

DJCandle:
A bright piano led hiphop number from Candle. A very professional sounding production
that suits 50cent's vocal and although it doesn't take it anywhere new it completes 50's
unfinished work perfectly, and that was the whole point. Plus any track that finds a way
to include the word "ambalamps" deserves a rewind. The winner for me.

Lord Vicious:
A beautiful hiphop track, swimming in Jazz samples and metalic cymbals.
A tight snare and kick bonds the track together and drives it along at a
cool head nod pace. Only Problem with this track is the wack way he mixed 50cent's
vocals. So low in the background it sounds like he's a few doors away. It let the
track down and thats a shame. Music is so sweet though..played this 4 times..I love Jazz.

mufasa672:
If that screaming bitch doesn't shut the fuck up I'm gonna hurt somebody!

Gekko:
This made my teeth hurt.

largebillsonlyplease:
This made my ears hurt.

TENS WINNER IS: DJCandle

SO AT THIS POINT WE HAVE TWO JOINT WINNERS
EACH CHOSEN TWICE BY THE JUDGES:

Skinne Talls
http://www.zshare.net/audio/89169579f198d56c/

DJCandle:
http://www.zshare.net/audio/884860032ac11a23/

BUT WE NEED A CLEAR WINNER SO A FINAL JUDGE WILL
HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE TWO TRACKS.

==================================

FINAL JUDGE tuckdog:

Skinny Talls beat was CRAZY, on some Dilla after he moved to L.A. shit. Dope.
The breakdown at the end of Skinny's track was FUCKIN BANANAS!!!!

BUT, I'm gonna still have to rock with DJ Candle because I think
he made better usage of the sample.

I think Skinny Talls just may have made a better overall beat,
but his usage of the sample actually TOOK AWAY from his track IMHO.

DJ Candle got it.

FINAL JUDGE tuckog's WINNER IS: DJCandle
