Determine the make and model of your cd/dvd burner and go to there website and download the most up to date drivers for your burner.

No. However you can install it via virtual machine if you have that installed on your PC.

I tried to load avast and it could not load due to an error?

This is what I did....
I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7
I took a while....a long while... but it installed with my settings and programs and all...

When I tried to download a picture from the internet ...nothing happened, no windows opened up pic didnt save. I was like WTF!!!

Then I tried to personalize my desktop and nothing happened when I clicked it. I was like WTF!!!!!

Finally I tried to open a folder and nothing happened. Now I'm really like WTF!!!!!

Can someone help me please!!!!

I have always done a clean install. I have always been against any kind of upgrade. Maybe someone else that may have did an upgrade can chime in and provide an answer for you...

I already put windows 7 on my pc, it deactivated so i was trying to use this version, how to i delete the existing original windows 7 or can i just upgrade?

You have to do a clean install from scratch. Just back up your files etc... and do a clean install.

I went back to my Win 7 RTM and tried that activator.......didn't work. I had to use the toolkit that came with 7 while disconnected from the internet, the key comes back as being overused. When I disconnected my wifi it worked even though it said it had an error problem. Turned off the updater. I then loaded my own stardock and side bar and added my own theme to get the same effect as "Eternity" so I'm good! :lol:

Also I will be dropping Windows 7 Extreme Edition R1 soon. Once it's complete I will share it with the folks on the board.
