Why Young Black Professionals Are Wary of Dallas, TX (In comparison to ATL/NY/DC)

its the ones who are up in Allen, Plano and Frisco who have this false sense of they have made it. Ask them why and they will tell you they move there because of the schools...yeah right when their kids still dont finish in the top 10% or graduate with with Honors...

Then you have those who are convinced that sending their kids to private schools will get them further than those who attend public schools....I dont see how when the public sector of kids still score higher on the SAT and ACT than private schools. i think they send their kids to private schools for office talk and just to fit in with them white folk.

do the math...they have public schools now kids can graduate with a high school diploma and a fucking associates degree at the same time..but you rather send your kid to a private school that is damn near the same setting it was when segregation was enforced....

and back to the young black professionals...many of them in Dallas are are companies and firms that get them down here and then many of them are put in an environment they cant succeed in...so they figure they can play the game and go hang out with the people they work with and degrade other blacks by talking about their hair or how big the black women asses are. They feel doing this allows them to be accepted...but they have it fucked up...cause what they fail to realize is those same white folk they work with are figuring out a way to get them out so they can get their white friends in. I have seen that shit happen 2 times.

Exactly man, I don't see why these people act like the private school system is gonna make their kids better. You can find some really nice public school systems nowadays. Instead they choose to try to make their kids fit in an environment where they're still ostracized for the most part.

I got fam all throughout DFW area. Ft.Worth (gate community in 'burbs), Arlington, Grand Prairie, Duncanville & Plano.

Uncle in Duncanville is laid back & cool as hell. Cousins in Arlington pretty down to earth. Everybody else in the suburbs on some private school shit

There is a white arrogance in Dallas that you won't find in any other part of the country. I can't explain it, it's not straight up racism but it's like a white Atlanta.

Because they know how to keep niggas in line in Dallas. What I mean by that is, the city is very segregated. Most Black communities are south of the river, the biggest northern Black community use to be Hamilton Park, but we've started to migrate out. Out of towners flock to the northern burbs because they seeking that acceptance. Black businesses get targeted by the city & they get em for any kinda fuck up. Gotta be on point because there's always a target on you, but with the growing population...it's a perfect time for Black entrepreneurs.

Crime stats had more crime occuring in Plano and some of them areas up there more than Southern burbs.Not by a whole lot but still more crime was occurring up there.
