Nigha... you stupid.
So the government provides you a free vaccine to help slow/ stop the spread of covid, you refuse, you get covid. What do you think the governments next move should be?
It's all about freedom of choice.
If you choose not to get vaccinated that's fine and dandy. If an employer "CHOOSES" not to employ your not vaccinated ass.... suck it up and move on. Stop crying.

Did you read the article?

Clearly not..I don't think reading is popular on here nor comprehension

:smh:

Same board where “Black single mothers don’t support their kids education and are the cause of the racial wealth gap” is a dominant mantra.

May as well be on Fox Nation.

I stopped reading when I saw "Donald Trump was the convenient scapegoat..."

You should have kept reading:

“Austerity, low wage work, housing insecurity, and the profit driven health care system were problematic issues before anyone heard the word Covid-19 or indeed before Trump’s presidency. Every failing of the United States already in existence came into sharp relief when the pandemic struck.”

Where is the lie?

If Trump would have taken Covid 19 seriously from the jump we wouldn't be in this position now.

There is no lie. Politicians have always done their damndest to give the impression that American's don't have anything to worry about. Like dude said in the first tweet, this was about doing the private sector's bidding. Anytime we ask why there are tax loopholes or why we can't have universal health care, we never get an answer that explains the obvious truth...these businesses bribe us to benefit them and not make things better for you.

White folks, their the ones talking about their freedoms, government control and conspiracies.

Black folk, not the younger fools but many of us,we believe shit is real once someone dies....that's all it takes.

Nah, that's those ignorant and arrogant white people you mentioned in the first sentence as well. Remember that goofy bitch in Chicago that voted for Trump because he was going to get rid of the illegals, and she was married to a Mexican dude that wasn't a citizen? Shit was all good until her hate him home, because she believed she found the only good immigrant out of all immigrants.

That article was 100% on point. Trump damn near deliberately botched it from the beginning, but Biden is only slightly better.

The biggest mistake was to give an artificial end date. I understand people were getting antsy, but the most important thing is to..

Manage Expectations

If you told people, from the start..mask up (originally they said DON'T wear one)

Then quarantine as much as possible and when they saw they couldn't control the spread, shut down completely.

That's when the spread got in check. The vaccine was months away.

But, they let it be known that they wouldn't shut down again...and I knew THEN, that if this thing continued or mutated, which is what viruses do....we'd be screwed.

Right now, we're back to over 100k+ cases daily and different variants...some we know...some I'm SURE we haven't seen yet.

Smartest thing to do now would be to shut down, but that wouldn't happen now, til people were dying in the streets.

Instead, we have football stadiums at capacity...

Trump is the one that brought in the vaccines. The same ones you and others are begging everyone to take. The same ones the Democrats said not to take until they got into office, causing mass confusion.

:smh: at all the revisionist history.

Yep there is video of Biden saying the vaccine won't work

People equate wearing a mask to infringement on their freedom.

People would rather "be free" even if that means they could potentially be harming their neighbor in the process (asymptomatic spread). Even if the harm occurs to your children. "It's my right to be free.....fuck your kids life."

The pandemic continues because this country is full of the selfish and the spoiled over the greater good for the community as a whole.

The same vaccine that got Trump booed at his own rally. The seeds of rabid partisanship have grown into a tree producing fruits of animosity and blind hatred. The administration switches provide great material for studies concerning critical thinking, cults, and sensationalism.

Yep, also got him on video saying if you take the vaccination, you are immune to catching COVID, another lie. The shot pushers act like people don’t see this and then wonder why so much skepticism about the vaccine.

She made some good points. I didn't agree with all of what she said. But a lot of it I do agree.

The messaging was always mixed up. It seemed like no one was on the same page from the start, and it was all due to politics. The health of citizens should never be used to push an agenda, and people let themselves be used as mouthpieces for people that really don't give a fuck about them.

Tell that to my baby mama who sent my kids over this past weekend, but didnt tell me she had Covid. Plus kids have not been tested. On top of that, the next day she took then to the movies. Her dumb ass is supposed to be in the house. Her uncle died of covid few months back. Black people keep this shit going to bruh....just saying.

Ok
I felt that she wasn't clear on what she thought Biden should have done about some of the issues she raised.
He arbitrarily chose July 4 as the date when all would be right, with hoped for high vaccination rates. He didn’t trust the science either, as the Centers for Disease Control declared that the vaccinated no longer had to wear masks. The World Health Organization was far more cautious and advised against any such declaration. The rise of the Delta variant has driven an increase in cases and Biden administration miscues are responsible.

Joe Biden has done nothing to alleviate these many crises. Temporary unemployment benefits end in September, and millions of people were denied these funds when republican state legislatures decreed that they wanted people back at work. The Supreme Court struck down the eviction moratorium and 90% of the funds allocated to pay for rent relief remain unspent. Millions of people face the prospect of becoming unhoused.

That's reckless as fuck my dude.

The first part I get, as I always felt people should continue to wear masks at least until a high threshold of completion of vaccinations had been achieved. I disagreed with the president on that. This, considering that from sight, no one can tell whether or not a person is vaccinated.

The second part is murkier in terms of what Biden should have done- particularly in regards to the Supreme Court decision regarding the eviction moratorium.
