They are expensive. These electric cars are the future, I was in Dedham, MAss today and i did a test drive. Very low maintenance and no transmission.
How long does the battery last?
I forgot. He told me but I forgot. They do last long though. They have very little maintenance. You only have to do maintenance like once a year. It's tranny free.
No
starter
water pump
Ignition coils
Spark plugs
Alternator
Model 3 in my plan
How long does the battery last?
Doesnt have an engineIt just has an engine which works off of electric. No transmission. I don't think there is an alternator or water pump either. No starter I don't think. I am not too sure about ignition coils or spark plugs. You have to get maintenance done like once or maybe twice a year.

There's a Tesla dealership out there now?

90% of your charging will be at home and it's cheap as fuck...gotta pay for supercharging (the"pumps" you see around)
Kid has me inspired to the point of shopping for a salvage car to rebuild...
They come with an 8 year warranty .How long does the battery last?

We've narrowed our next to a Tesla P95D or a Maserati Levante.
get the Tesla bro..gotta pay for supercharging (the"pumps" you see around)
I still rather have the Model S.
If & when they release a 1 ton pickup truck![]()
Battery recycle, restore.I'll be interesting to see if Tesla can really compete once more companies start releasing their EVs. Right now one of Teslas biggest issues are around customer service.
Revian seems to be getting a lot of attention for their ev trucks/SUV.
Honestly, I've been trying to figure the best way to profit from the EV move.
QUOTE="guyver, post: 19670145, member: 39588"]Not a true statement for everyone. While that is true of model 3 owners, I own a model S and dont pay for Supercharging.
I'm not sure if that will continue to be the case given the recent decision to stop the referral program, but I'd think/hope current owners would be grandfathered in.

I have no idea. Just a thought I had one day when I was being entrepreneurial. I was thinking more along the lines of buying stock in companies that handle that kind of thing thoughIs that easy to get into and how much would you need to invest up front?

Tesla issue with service are a direct result of their success... plus they are enjoying 95% customer loyalty (best ever for a car company)I'll be interesting to see if Tesla can really compete once more companies start releasing their EVs. They are ramping up support and opening support centers while training techs for mobile care...
Tesla will be fine because they are so far ahead and will be the only.company that produces their own batteries for at least the next 7 years.
Rivian has hype but haven't produced pr sold any vehicles....
Tesla is staged to become a massively successful company because of their battery tech. Their cars are gravy. If Elon is successful, Tesla will dominate Energy production.
Time will tell. I know a few people who thought about buying a Tesla who reconsidered after hearing about their lack of service.
It's easy to be on top when no one really cares to compete.Fan boys can only protect your gaps for so long.
I have had a few issues dealing with Tesla reps and I hope to never have a big issue with my vehicle.
