Look at the crap they are teaching CCW holders. No wonder he was shot.

First when the officer is flashing his lights with a conceal carry weapon in the vehicle, get your license out of your pocket immediately. Delay stopping for a couple of seconds to retrieve your wallet. As the officer approaches, have your license out in your hand and immediately provide it to the officer. Remained fixed in your position with your hands on the steering wheel and calmly speak to the officer to assure them that you pose no danger. Don't delay thinking the officer will not ask.

If he ask for vehicle registration or insurance, politely refuse. Some of these items can be pulled up on their computer or later provided to the court. Most police vehicles has high speed data connections and should be able to retrieve your picture to confirm your identity. If they can't than the government has failed to update its technology infrastructure to increase the safety of the public. If the officer approaches before you have any of these items in your hand, memorize your license number and provide that to them.

By doing this you are creating a binary scenario which is the best possible outcome. When they tell you to freeze with their gun drawn and you move, even if you are doing something that is harmless, they put you into a binary scenario so they can quickly respond. You can use these same tactics with them by refusing their unnecessary documentation request (officer these items are not readily available at this moment) and not moving. Sometimes due to poor training, they ask for things that greatly increase their danger or is used to prolong the traffic stop to interrogate you.

What we need is case law from the courts on being able to refuse documentation request due to concerns of safety and being obsolete. These items should be readily available to the government with current technology, the courts can force the government to update its technology. I think they are delaying because this obsolete system gives them extra time to scan you vehicle and look for probably cause for some other offense.

They have given officers the ability to pull you out of a car to protect their safety, why not citizens being able to refuse unnecessary documentation request?

NO... Doing anything in this video will get you shot.

Here's what you do. Make sure you have your registration, insurance card and a copy of your CCW permit all together in an envelope in your glove box.

IF YOU ARE PULLED OVER AT NIGHT - TUEN THE DOME LIGHTS ON. ANYWAYS...

1. Put your flashers on and turn the vehicle off.

2. Grab the envelope with your paperwork and put it in the visor above you.

3. Put your phone on record and place it on your lap.

4. Roll down all your windows and put both hands on the wheel.

5. Do not move.

Its that simple. If he wants the papers, he can reach in and grab them himself. If he asks where your gun is, tell him its in the trunk. If he asks any more questions, just answer him. If he asks you to search your car, politely refuse. If he asks you to step out of your car, politely refuse. If he gets upset, ask to speak to his supervisor. Oh yeah, and you must state that you are in fear for your safety.

I've had situations where the cop didn't even bother to ask me about my sidearm. Just took my envelope and went back to his car. He looked all that shit up himself. Then he came back, gave me my stuff and said have a nice day son, drive careful. I was like cool, peace man.

I think that's right. Different states have different laws too so I'm not sure. There are ways to challenge his ass if you feel like going that route but otherwise, save that battle for court, never waste your time arguing or going back n forth on a traffic violation.
