They think that anyone will believe this bullshit about warranty work being the reason to keep the boat in RI. When you get into this league they could give a rat's ass about where the warranty work gets done. They just expect that the "peons" will be available to go "wherever the boat may be. This guy is such a bad liar.

How hard is it to verify where the boat was made, and where it needs to be serviced? I would suspect this information would be verified before running a story...

I fail to see the outrage. How is this different than many pro athletes and millionaires moving to Florida or any other state that doesn't have an income tax?

He is an elected official and in the past he has said that we need to raise taxes on the rich. Athletes and other millionaires don't have those elected ties to a state. They move and set up residency in any state they chose. Since he is elected in MA then that should be his state of residency.

I figured that what the outrage was supposed to be but that's fake to me. He stores his yacht somewhere else to take advantage of lower taxes. Okay. But he still lives in Mass, right? Or does he live on the boat?
When he supports raising taxes on the rich, how does this negate that message? Isn't he still very, very rich? Wouldn't that still affect him?
I detest fake controversy.
