there's some black ran grows, including the last one I worked at, most of the industry is owned by Russians, Asians, Italians, and other umm "family business" types lol let's just say it's a shady buisness that has roots pretty deep in "that type" of thing...you have your grows and ships owned by good people, but everyone pays up if you catch my drift, Both to the bigger organizations and locals, it else. The easiest way to get in the industry is to know someone, you gotta understand that you are generally going to be around millions of dollars of product on grows and shops so trust and having someone vouch for you is a big deal. Usually you gotta work your way up .Trimming is where most people get in the biz, it's the bottom of the barrel on treatment but dependddewhwre you work pay can be excellent. Anywhere from 60-200 a lb trimmed.(if focused and a hard worker you can trim 4-6 pllbs a day) everyone hates trimming and trimmers are def treated like shit. From there you can get a gig as a grow worker pay is usually hourly and you can work up to 100 hours a week. The key to those gigs is connections because ultimately you have to try to hreak off in your own or you will always get fucked .there was a time where our trim crew didn't get paid because the cac bitch in charge of payroll spent our pay on new tits and coke .Concentrates is where the money is at. If you can get a nice little set up the money is damn near crack buisness good. Lol but to do that unless you grow yourself and have the cash to get that going you need a connection for product, But imo that's the best bet.
also as far as green states, from the ones I know California is the easiest to work in and get something started .Just way less regulations and the ones in place aren't really enforced like that.

Dark concentrate could be strong but usually the taste is gross and it means the flower was old before it was ran. Freshness is key as the crystals keep changing and weakening iver time. Best way to avoid dark concentrate is to freeze(deep freeze if possible) fresh flower directly after it's been hung to dry.

depending on where you store int concentrates last a good amount of time, I've found I gram I had laying around or an old slab that was like nesrly a year old and if anything there was a slight loss of potency and a change in consitency. The catridges I've had even better luck with, as long as you keep it in a cool place those should last at least that long as well . With concentrates you can still make cash off that bad/old product . Distill it or sell it for cheap .Either way.
