Why I could never be a teacher

When a teacher demands that a pupil leave their room, there has to be an enforcer/security officer to back them up. Otherwise you'll have chaos.

And this is nothing new. We’ve all seen this or have caused it. Only difference is weak ass teachers!

Sorry, my brother.
I've been in front of kids now for 16 years.
I have taught K-6th grade.
You have NO IDEA how disheartening it is when your job is to TEACH,
give knowledge/information to the youth, and act SO against it.
Then in certain schools, your career weighs heavily on THEIR performance.
There's no such thing as a weak teacher.
The job description doesn't say anything about being tough, brave, etc.
It' just says we have to think critically to convey lessons to kids.
We wear so many hats.

That guy just had it.
I have seen teachers get bullied;
got their purses ran through,
had their lunch eaten in front of them,
locked in the closet,
money and phone were stolen.
crazy shit man

Wrong.
As a teacher, I respectfully disagree. Our issue is that students like that are given more rights than the people trying to give them some fukn game and teach them skills. If we request to have them removed, admin will come back with some shit about “classroom management” or “building rapport with parents.” Personally, I don’t struggle with issues like this, but this is what happens when you realize that what it is you are doing is pointless when the audience isn’t willing to receive the message. You move on to different material (metaphorically…) or take up a whole new act. Teachers are easily some of the most educated professionals in the workplace so we always have options. Sometimes it is “fuck them kids…”

It's not weak ass teachers. It's poor parenting and restrictions against corporal punishment. Kids know a teacher cannot discipline them so they act out without fear of repercussions. I'm dating myself but I can remember when a teacher or principal could and would knock the shit out of you for misbehaving. Now kids can curse and threaten a teacher and he or she can do nothing.

In this instance I think the teacher was pacing back and forth out of frustration that he couldn't snatch the little asswipe up and out of that frustration he just left the room.:hmm:

I taught a year in the Boston Public Schools system from 2019 to Spring of 2020 and realized that there are some students whose entire reason for being in class is to disrupt the education of others.
I was teaching a business course to students through a Junior Achievement-like program as a way of giving back to community kids, and one time a particular group of girls became so disruptive one time (consistently, If I'm being honest) it forced me to address them head-on. They became aggressive and profane in the worst way imaginable. These are students who have no structure in their homes are allowed to speak to adults as though they are peers. There was nothing I could say or do to help teens that are so lost. It's wasted energy --learning energy taken away from the students interested in learning the subject material.
