I'm pretty sure it was a CSI or Law and Order episode Don ... I remember watching it too ... but I already knew of this particular story too

Doesn't make sense to me and seems a slap in the face of a young black actress who could've gotten a chance to shine. This movie is not like Devil in a Blue Dress or The Human Stain where white actors are somewhat needed to play black roles so the story is not given away.

Jennifer Beals is biracial. She was Daphne Monet in the movie.
