But to many of our community, this is the reality they grew up in. So that's their reality. On the west coast, most of our people came from the south and midwest, Ethiopians, west Indians and others came in the 70's after we paid the price to make it safe for them.

It may be their reality, but it isn’t representative of the whole and shouldn’t be.
