As for heist, at the end of the day neither you or I are the victims of his brand of hatred. Therefore, it's really not up to us to say whether or not he crossed the line and deserved to be banned.

I think what happens here is that there are some that feel as if globalists are pulling the strings of both parties. It's not Democrat vs Republican, it's the elite vs the masses. To side with either party is total demise without being aware.

BAN CAMEAL
The forum rules need to be posted in a permanent public place like they used to be. They need to be comprehensive and clear. What earns a ban should be among those rules. If those things are clear, then threads like this would be rare. Point blank. It's here now because it's not clear and heist's ban appears to some folks to be arbitrary and personal, as opposed to him having broken any actual rules.
As long as the rules aren't posted anymore, we can only speculate about the specifics.
In the end, even though many of us pay a fee, this is a privately owned website and the owner can set the rules however he wants, but again it's only fair for those rules to be posted in a common area.
If you personally want to ignore people, go ahead and ignore them. Whatever makes your BGOL experience easier on your eyes and stress free.

To answer your question, it's not necessarily the coonish acting among us that I'm interested in communicating good info to or encouraging to read, research and study for themselves. Coon pride won't allow for that in many cases. Around here it seems like for one to be shown to be publicly shown wrong about something is a fate worse than death. So instead of conceding a point, they cherrypick, move goalposts, make false comparisons and desperately launch ad hominem attacks. But those individuals aside, there are far more who just read and don't take part in discussion. In my mind those people can be reached because they're not deluded by being personally invested in "winning" a public debate.
