My sister is a TU alum. Double majored in Biology and Food Science.
Got an opportunity to intern in St Louis in 2003 and 2004 @ Solae, a division of Purina.
She was working on an artificial sweetner they were rolling out called aspartame...what the public came to know as Splenda.
She called home, put us on speaker, told us what she was working on, and told us don't ever eat it. We didn't and we don't.
