I'm American and I'm black. I'm not African American per say but I understand that I'm genetically in some way linked to Africa and Africans. Speople forget that there's individual countries within Africa,it's a continent and I don't know which country my past relatives might of came from,I can trace as far back as being West Indian culturally other than that it's a guessing game thanks to history of slavery.
Where most people go wrong is when they deny being black, but if your a mulatto and you don't consider yrself black I won't push the issue no further because I'm not looking you make you something you don't want to be.Good luck to your Clablasian,Creole,Native,Indian, white asses.I can be black and American even though I don't feel like this country honors me or us doesn't mean I'mma give it up so easily to these funky finger fuckers(whites and the rest of em).
In all due respect - you do not have to know which "country" your ancestors come from to know that you are African, the so called countries are fictional lines drawn by invaders who raped and exploited the continent of Africa. If I see a young man with Slanted eyes, yellowish tinged skin and very straight black hair and he tells me he is not Asian he is American because he is adopted and doesnt know which country is ancestor were from - we would all say Bro you are definitely Asian, the fact he is from China, japan or Korea would not be as important than he is of Asian ancestry. But that would be a fictional conversation because unlike blacks Asians have no problem letting people know who they are even if they don't know the individual country.
