Why Are These Black People Rejecting Their Blackness?

I'm American and I'm black. I'm not African American per say but I understand that I'm genetically in some way linked to Africa and Africans. Speople forget that there's individual countries within Africa,it's a continent and I don't know which country my past relatives might of came from,I can trace as far back as being West Indian culturally other than that it's a guessing game thanks to history of slavery.

Where most people go wrong is when they deny being black, but if your a mulatto and you don't consider yrself black I won't push the issue no further because I'm not looking you make you something you don't want to be.Good luck to your Clablasian,Creole,Native,Indian, white asses.I can be black and American even though I don't feel like this country honors me or us doesn't mean I'mma give it up so easily to these funky finger fuckers(whites and the rest of em).

In all due respect - you do not have to know which "country" your ancestors come from to know that you are African, the so called countries are fictional lines drawn by invaders who raped and exploited the continent of Africa. If I see a young man with Slanted eyes, yellowish tinged skin and very straight black hair and he tells me he is not Asian he is American because he is adopted and doesnt know which country is ancestor were from - we would all say Bro you are definitely Asian, the fact he is from China, japan or Korea would not be as important than he is of Asian ancestry. But that would be a fictional conversation because unlike blacks Asians have no problem letting people know who they are even if they don't know the individual country.

The Israelites aren't rejecting their blackness, they're rejecting particular nations.

It's all a big mindfuck from Europeans. They have created an anti-black sentiment that has existed for more than 700 years.

Black as a terminology is malicious to evil in most presentations. This anti-black propaganda never stops... Until people will confess to being anything other than black

What you said, reminds me of this scene.

Africans are very bright people. But for the most part, they're pretty dumb. I chalk it up to them wanting to be on the "good side"

Now but while it will help those mentality of the unconfident
It appears you are still pretty young so I don't fault you for not seeing all of the nuances to this issue. And I mean no disrespect. This has nothing to do with confidence, in the sense you're speaking. The confidence is in identifying with one's own. It is choosing sides. This white supremacist society wants to strip us of any unity amongst ourselves. As long as we are not united, we remain easy pickings and sometimes willing victims of those who wish to exploit us - economically, judicially, politically, educationally and socially. That's all fact regardless of how personally confident any one of us might feel.

White supremacy is not just a cancer in Western society but worldwide - including the Europeans' colonization and exploitation of Afrikan countries. This is why the smart money is on:

Pan-Africanism
" At a basic level, it is a belief that African peoples, both on the African continent and in the Diaspora, share not merely a common history, but a common destiny"
http://exhibitions.nypl.org/africanaage/essay-pan-africanism.html

Pan-Africanism is an ideology and movement that encourages the solidarity of Africans worldwide.[1] It is based on the belief that unity is vital to economic, social, and political progress and aims to "unify and uplift" people of African descent.[2] The ideology asserts that the fate of all African peoples and countries are intertwined. At its core Pan-Africanism is "a belief that African peoples, both on the continent and in the diaspora, share not merely a common history, but a common destiny"

"Black" is a catch-all term to describe those of African descent. Yes, I have known Sudanese who were literally Black in color. But I've never seen anyone pure white.

But it all about confidences
To carry the identity of "black" require a lot of confidences
Black represents power in it's purest form
How do you tell a group of people who been mentality beaten down every generation to represent power
I know the true meaning of black, I represent black in a spiritual aspect but I find it hard for a normal human without the intelligence to represent "black"
It even deeper than you think
When I say I'm black, I don't talk about nothing physical, I'm talking the black you see when you close your eyes, that's the black I represent, in the physical form I am brown

I added on some more stuff to my previous post.

I hear you. I would submit it has more to do with awareness than intelligence. But then again based on your last post, maybe our disconnect is only in the terminologies we are choosing to use.

In the spirit world, black is god, the devine, all mighty, the beginning and the end
Not everyone got the heart to represent it

muhfukaz writing thesis left and right just to avoid being called "BLACK"... maan things i see on bgol :smh::smh:
if u cant understand the workings of white supremacy ,everything else will confuse you.. this is one of those examples

If its just a color to u then why are u so adamant in throwing it away?
That "NIGERIA" name u claim as ur origin is also a given name, it was named by ur colonial master Lord Luggards wife coined the term "Nigeria" from the river Niger hence "Niger Area" do u want to throw it away too? Or are u also a slave to ur imperialistic lord Lugard?

Black for all Intent and purpose is fine by me cos it only tries to describe my skin color and nothing else. No white person gave me my skin tone, even White Folks aren't "white" but u don't see them denying being "WHITE" ..cos they understand it means a european ,just as BLACK means an Afrikan based upon Skin tone.

While "Nigerian" is a name given to u by ur former imperial masters

This was deep right here.

And I never knew that about Nigeria's name.
