First off, DAMN. As a sociology grad, any woman that can discuss Kinsey is fucking phenomenal in my book. Just because you find something beautiful and/or are attracted to it, doesn't mean you want to have sex with it. You can't, however, compare flowers and dogs to humans in this regard. There IS something sexual attached to a woman finding another woman beautiful/attractive. If I showed you a picture of a nude woman with a beautiful face but with flat floppy breasts and then another picture of the same-faced woman but she was statuesque with perfect proportions, you would find the latter to be the most attractive/beautiful precisely because she is the most sexually attractive. This does not mean that you want to fuck her.

To you, what makes a woman sexy/beautiful?? In the absence of social perceptions of sex and sexuality, you would STILL find certain women attractive, it's basic instinct. If I showed you two pictures, you would more that likely choose the one with the more "sexually" attractive features. Now what might be "sexually" attractive to a man, maybe be labeled as "beautiful" by a woman, but c'mon. A nude woman with a great shape, are you really celebrating her symmetry and the curvature of her body? No, you are saying she has great breasts and a nice ass. That doesn't not mean you are GAY or BI or want to fuck her, but she is sexually appealing and that is what has drawn you to her. The characteristics that you find beautiful are SEXUAL in nature.
C'mon Femme, you can't compare across genus and species and still keep it within the realm of sexuality. A homo erectus will never find a canis familiaris sexually attractive. They can find it appealing and beautiful, but not sexual. Well actually, there have been several psychological experiments in which babies were presented pictures of two people and went to the one that was more attractive- in most cases the most attractive were the most symmetrical faces. Same thing with body types. Ratios hip to waist ratios typically make women more attractive. My point is that attractiveness is indeed instinctual, but attractiveness is not the same as being sexually attractive... Sexual attractiveness is not the only form of attractiveness. Attractiveness is also cultural and societal.
