I know im not the first to conceptualize this but I havent seen it put into actual expression yet so allow me to be the first:
THIS SHIT HAS 0% TO DO WITH THE ECONOMY AND MAYBE 2% TO DO WITH HEALTHCARE.
What this boils down to is pure politickin by the repugs and conservative moderates that yall thought had Obamas back. These cac groups encompass folx from high level politicians down to your backwood yokels. Repugs are a great deal of a lot smarter than dems and have been methodically trying to find the soft spot in Os armor. Imo they have found it. Do you know what it is?

Its Os own tactic of taking it to the people and organizing on a grassroots level. Whereas O did/does it with relatively noble intentions of actually effecting his brand of change the repugs have peeped game and are not afraid of hijacking that channel to spread lies and fear which is what their base thrives off of.

I was in the grocery store just yesterday and a white dude was yappin real loud on his celly talkin bout some group and all this shit they were gettin organized. I thought he was talkin bout some club picnic or what not. I was not purposefully eavesdropping dude was just real energized and loud. Then he bust out with they have a name for their group and he said something like Back Officers Association (BOA for short 
) and that he and his group were targeting various town hall meetings in the area and enlisting the help of everybody they meet to enlist the help of others and so on.
I wont go into all what dude said but the overall gist was that they were organizing to provide resistance along the same lines of shit youve seen nationwide.
Thats what youre seeing and hearing at these meetings..... Resistance. Some of these people actually do live there and werent neccesary directly recruited. Could be just politics, could have something to do with race/culture/class but unfortunately I think its just cacs being cacs.
Remember the bulk of em voted GW in office twice and only bucked the trend for O due to the economy.
IF by the end of Os 1st term the repugs can trick those same people that either 1) the economic situation is Os fault or 2) that O is not effecting change fast enough or 3) rewrite overall successes by emphasizing 1 or 2 failures it will be a muthafuckin
for O.
I hope it doesnt turn out that way. O is smart and ideologically equipped to get the job done. But a good bit of his leeway rises and sets based on his public popularity. The repugs are going to try and reverse the chi. How they achieve it (economy, healthcare, congressional gridlock, townhall meetings, Gates-Crowley...) is irrelevant.
