Are you serious? Besides a stark difference in power, a pick up truck has an open cab, so it can hold much larger loads, and pull them faster.
And sedans get far better mileage than a mini van, and come on man...it's a minivan.

Correct! And i got mines just beacuse i actually fit in it. I test drove maximas altims camry's and i test drove the 300 smooth ride and mad room for my kids also.

CASE IN POINT: Someone I knew last year told me they wanted to get the 300c becasue it looks like a bently and she wanted it with a Bently Grill. This kind of statment make me throw up.

I hear you, it happens but this phenomenon isn't new and crosses all racial and class barriers.
The wealthy too, buy in excess. Its all in an effort to gain more favor in the eyes of their peers, or the opposite sex. Coined 'keeping up with the jones' The poor also subscribe, and try to look good and feel better about themselves, so they buy stuff they can't afford. We're all guilty of it, some just go to extreme.

As someone who used to work for Chrysler I can tell you why black people drive 300C's. They're dope cars. Top of the line. Driving down the highway you don't even need to change lanes. just hold on to the wheel, close your eyes, think about where you want to be and POOF!! you're in the lane 30 seconds later with no problems. They also have the best stock sound systems known to man.
My only question is why white people wouldn't copy this trend when every other trend we've copied off black people has worked to our advantage. Clay Akien should get one just to let the rest of my people know it's okay.

Black people are more likely to purchase a Chrysler 300, the same reason so many greeks in NY purchase a BMW even if a shitty one, same reason dominicans and puerto ricans purchase hatchback civics, same reason I see so many germans purchase volkswagens, same reason in Miami so many cubans with no construction company or shit to transport have a pickup truck, same reason you see elderly couples driving Cadillac Sedan DeVilles, etc..
Man most folks aint even pushin the Cs, just the base model. Now that I will never understand. If your gonna buy a car then buy a car, not the striped down version, cant afford the big boy, buy what you can afford. But when they trick out the base model and try to get props for puttin a clothtop, some 24s, and a different grill on it.
C/S I will never get that, but it is not limited to black folks, latinos do the same shit, living in beat up places, but driving cars that are worth damn near what their whole house is worth....I'll never get it...
If you guys ever seen or been inside of a Bentley you will never compare the 300 to it.
