Why would you want to be so controlling that your woman can't read a book?

Seriously I once dated a chick that had every book of Zane and this chick mirrored every lifestyle within those books. I'll never forget one day this chick out of no where just started talking about "cum tasting parties" it was depicted in "sisters of the APF" where these chick invite dudes over to ............ well you get the picture.. I'm looking at her like WTF because she was too intrigued about??? Needless to say I bounced from tha with the quickness not just because of the book but she just had other flaws. But those books are not positive especially if you're in a marriage or relationship because they promote infidelity. And hate to say it but most black women have so many flaws to read those books just makes it worse. Personally, I hate Zane, but you can't fault someone who reads it. If she didn't read it would be a problem. I think its just these people don't understand. I don't like Zane, but I found good use for it... Borrowed it from a friend for me and my dude to read to each other... In the right hands Zane can work in your favor. I have NEVER read a book and been like "oohhh, I need to try this..."
