Who should play Blade in the reboot?

He's only 3 years older than Robert Downey Jr at 53.
He's half vampire there is no need to make him younger.

Marvel is finally expanding the Blade universe by creating a 16 yr old daughter, the comic starts in October. New black female character. Perfect set up a Blade reboot with an older Snipes.

Snipes still looks virtually the same and can probably get into the right kind of shape to kill the role again..... if Tom Cruise can be a premiere action star at his age why not Snipes?

I posted an article,a few months back saying Marvel is thinking about putting Blade's daughter in the reboot....I kinda figure that's the route they were going, every since Marvel announced doing a comic about his daughter, earlier this year.

usually when a movie is rebooted they bring in a whole new cast and tell a slightly different story. Snipes isnt the star he was when blade came out im thinking an origin story would be dope to set up for a multi film franchise. show how blade became the bad muthafucka he is. There has to be a younger black actor with martial arts skills who can do the role justice.

I knew somebody was gonna suggest Chiwetel Ejiofor. I was waiting for somebody to mention Idris Elba too.

I've said it before.
I'll say it again.
Wesley Snipes is the safest choice.
Sure, they COULD cast someone else.
With a good script and a different face playing the lead...
COULD hit a home run at the box office.

BUT, considering the fact that more often than not the studio/director/writers will STILL find a way to fuck up an established franchise, logic dictates that you play your best card first.

What I mean is that even if by some chance the next Blade movie sucks on a Fantastic Four level of suckitivity, the inclusion of Wesley Snipes in the lead role SHOULD be enough to guarantee box office sales at least in the "break-even" range.

That's just good business sense, considering the last time we got a Blade that wasn't Snipes...

They bout to take Blade and ruin the franchise on some Twilight shit watch. :smh:

And I was hoping Blade would return to squash all that bullshit, what was it 4 movies in that twilight franchise. :smh:

How many female actors know any martial arts tho?

Because if they do this I'm thinking, there's about to be a lot of screen jumps, cuts and body doubles and it's just gonna take away from authenticity of the choreography.

They need to find that little vampire girl from the first Blade that kicked his ass after he found their hide out. She know martial arts. Is she still around?

Chiwetel Ejiofor is already cast in Dr. Strange rumor is as Baron Mordo

Michael Jai White is stuck as the crappy Bronze Tiger on Arrow.

Make Blade the MCU's supernatural equivalent to Daredevil's street level heroes

Put it on Netflix and lead into the Midnight Sons or Legion of Monsters which brings in
Ghost Rider
Hellstorm
Jennifer Kale
Morbius
Elsa Bloodstone
Man-Thing
N'Kantu
Werewolf by Night

Martin Lawrence!

ex boxer but he's got more grey and lines than Wesley right now.

Don't clown me. I'm basing this on his role in Takers, the "Wall to Wall" video and "Fine China" fight scene. Chris Brown.

Runners up: bulked Jayden. already knows Martial Arts and already works the comics/sci-fi circuit.

Eric Lane (actually that hairline makes him look older than he is) but he already knows martial arts.

film is ass but he's already playing a super hero

Long shot. Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson. Already athletic, has film experience, but he has a lisp.
