there's no need to reboot it..they need to stop rebooting well known stories..treat it like the British do james bond and just move on..they had like 50 different actors play bond and never really rebooted anything..casino royale was more a remake since the first one was played as a comedy with david niven rather than a action/thriller. But they keep pumping the stories out no matter who is in the role.

thats how they need to handle all the superhero films. Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Iron man, Hulk etc...

its unnecessary and annoying to keep going back to square one every time they get a new actor.

This is the LAST Batman movie by Nolan, his franchise with Batman is over with this last coming flick, so guesses are Batman dies in the movie. He has stated over and over that Dark Knight will be the last version of his vision for the batman series. I doubt ANYONE will ever come close to creating his vision type of movies for the series, and we won't see any more batman movies, for a very long time. So don't worry, no actor will fill the role any time soon..
