I know someone will criticize me for being soft, but i just had a thought....if there is ever a country that will make any firearms illegal i might be the first to move there...why does anyone in an urban area need to own a gun? i can't think of any needs for one and i dont think we should have them anyhow...i say fuck the constitution...that shit needs to be banned, especially in my community of south l.a....if you can't solve your problems with your hands then you're a punk...the average person on the streets doesn't need a fuckin' gun...

Most countries with a stable government have very strict gun laws and very little gun violence.

Well...I hope you never get robbed...

i still don't know if that helps answer things :(
why can't we have a stable government and no guns?
i think that gun ownership crap was a way to let the whiteys easily kill off the native americans and have control over black folks due to fear. a gun takes a life too easily...we should appreciate life more than that...we could at least only use bullets that sting real hard and not kill
i've encountered this debate a bit over the years and the best answer i could ever get is that "we have the right to bear arms." and that doesn't tell me shit.

i have once right off crenshaw and slauson, next to that KFC (for any of the l.a. peeps) but dude only got 3 dollars...but peep this...i saw dude on the bus (yes i used to ride the bus to school!!!, so what) about 4 months later and he was fondling some busted up white chick...stealin my 3 bucks to give to a busted ass white chick!!!...that's the new generation of crips for ya

I own a few guns, but I'd welcome much tighter restrictions--if not an outright ban--on firearms and the sale of ammunition.

3 cell phones. lol.

I'm going to come right out and admit that this shit went right over my head. I haven't the foggiest idea of the significance of the cell phone comment or why it is, allegedly, humorous.

Gun ownership and the arms industry are a major part of american culture and the american economy. This is because it is instilled in most of the population a fear that someone is out to take whats theirs. Americans are a very paranoid group of people, but at the same time very naive and easily manipulated. At every point in american history there has always been a group of people americans could unanimously be paranoid of. Business use that to their advantage along with the media to make money of of american stupidity.

Sorry bruh, I was fuckin with poorboy. He said in another thread he thought cell phones were a pain in the ass and didn't own one. Not just didn't own one, wouldn't own one. I told him he didn't have one because his credit sucked. Anyway, you needed to be in the thread to get it.

America's parioniod that sombody will come take their shit cuzz they stole everything in the first damn place.

I got nothing against owning guns.
I dont own one myself. but the only reason I would is if it was some kinda novelty thing. so instead I own a shit load of knives...none of them very practical.

As a gun owner (2 now another later), I have to say that even though I dont look forward to putting a crackhead, intruder to sleep for trying to take mine (again, had 2 break-in 2 years ago) I Will protect my family like malcolm X
BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY, police response time is too damn unpredictable for me to feel safe without my guns. plus in this day and age, I believe it's only a matter of time when being strapped (are the kids still saying that?)
is just a thing.
car keys - check
lunch money - check
cell phone - check
gun w/ extra clips - check and double check

law abiding citizens better be ready.....

For years I never needed one for two reasons. The First my size who deter people from doing trying me. Secondly, was i knew I would use it in some dumb situation at that young stage of my life. Now that I'm older and have an wife and kids my views were changed when my friends in law enforcement asked me one question. "If an intruder gets past you and you're your family's last line of defense, then what?"

You know I do, my newest baby is FN SPR 308 24in barrel w/ .05 MOA
w/ MTR 3.5x10 I love going to the range just to increase my mid-range engagement skills (600-850, so far)

you know what i never owned a gun until i got car jacked in 1992, i was pullin up to this 7-11 and a guy was robbin the store as i was pullin up, got jacked, took my car, police found it a week later, all fucked up, vowed to put this nigga to sleep, if i ever saw him again, and bought my first gun a .380, and later got a 9mm, thought i saw the perp 7 mths after the jackin and was ready 2 put him 2 sleep, it wasnt him, never seen him again, i dont know what he looks like anymore, but ive since bought me a xD40 cal and an AR-15 M4 carbine

i own a springfield xd 9mm but my job requires me to haveone but here in texas everyone has a dam gun buncha redneck gun nutd out here

i see some of you have them because of personal experiences/getting jacked...but that's kind of my whole point....makings guns illegal would make those jackers a bit more powerless...the worst they could probably do is stab you but thats certainly much easier to handle. you can try to dodge a knife but u can't dodge a bullet (unless you're leroy from the last dragon and can catch that muthafucka with your teeth...sho' nuff)...and i'd still be willing to support guns with rubber bullets or something so that it can damage someone, but not kill...

i feel ya on solving problems with your hands, but how do you do that when the other guy has a hand cannon.

Making guns illegal would do nothing more than allow criminals to get them off the streets and keep law abiding citizens from being able to protect themselves against robbers. That would be a criminals paradise. Think about it like drugs and prohibition of alcohol. Just because you cant get one out of the store won't mean folks wont still be able to sneak them in the country and sell them on the streets. People will always find a way.

Buy a house in a poor part of town where people steal your vehicles out of your back yard twice, brings cars to your back yard when you went on vacation for a week and strip them.

Here is the kicker now. Get into a construction deal where the freaking contractors who don't finish the job and wants all the money in the contract, you've seen him bring a gun on the job site in his brief case, you bring in other people to finish the job because he has caused your project to delay by months. You have to sleep at the house because you afraid of crackheads breaking your windows. Oh yeah they have broken your outdoor lights before. After you start sleeping there everything is straight.

What do you do when someone with better hands than you breaks into your house to rape your daughter @ night? Take the loss cuz he had better hands than you? Fucc no!!!! If anything, I think crime would increase because besides gettin stabbed or hit wit a bat, I'm thinkin most peoples main fear of illegally entering someone elses house is gettin shot!!! Use your head before you make ignorant posts like this. Also, not all people buy guns just to shoot people (i.e. hunting, shootin ranges, skeet shooting...no homo....shit like dat).

Dude, on the real, you need to go wash your pussy, and then learn. Guns don't cause crime, criminals and overzealous government does. Outlawing guns won't do shit except maybe embolden the Mofo's who steal, rob and worse. Places that had high gun crime prior to arms bans still had high gun crimes after the ban. England has almost double the gun crime than before the 1997 gun ban. Cops are more likely to carry guns now than 100 years ago, when having a gun in the house was very possible.

Now onto the reason we have the 2nd Smendment here. It has to do with balancing the power of the people vs. the State, and the Militia. First, in order to help keep the Govt. from getting out of pocket, every house became a potential pillbox, and every town became a potential fort when there are guns around. Second, until after WWI, most of the troops for a war came from state militia, and they often had rifles as well. Also, many thought there would be foreign invasion, and once again, every house became a potential pillbox.
Now, was there a specific discussion about personal defence, no. There did not need to be. It was understood to be a personal issue. But there also was no specific discussion about Abortion, Miranda rights, Welfare and a host of other "rights". But they exist.

I always get pissed off when other people come up with ideas, and think that it would be good to subject others to them, just to make themselves feel comfortable. Fuck that. I should not need permission to protect me and mine, especially when those who would be in charge of doling out that permission usually have armed guards themselves.

I stay by myself, and I stay in the hood. I am not trying to see who can box better when I am awakened by an intruder at 2 in the morning. I damn sure don't want to get stabbed. I'm going to introduce them to Shaka.

Meet Shaka (closest pic I could find to what I have)

Here in GA we have a city (Kennesaw) where it is mandatory that every house in the city have a working firearm. Officials come by once a year to inspect it and make sure it works. Failure to comply results in a very hefty fine. The result is no burglaries or attempted burglaries.

lol like dave chappelle said... " bullets should cost $5000.00" or like chris rock said " take away the guns and allow knives" pussies can pull a trigger just an easy as ne one.. it would take a disturbed mofo to really get up close to stab somebody

I dont own a gun but I need to get one. I am all for fighting rather than shooting but what good does it do me to be ready to fight somebody when they are tryin to shoot me? And like somebody else said in this post, if a nigga break in at 2 in the morning, I aint tryin to see who got the better hands.
