Who is currently the most influential black leader today? If you don't think there is one, you can say "no one".

I have much respect but his support of Obama at every turn no matter what gets tiring.
Obama has NOT been perfect with regard to the A/A community, but Al won't call him on it.
Personally I'd follow Tavis before Rev. Al.

We do not need a fucking leader!!!!! I repeat -- we do not need a fucking leader!!!!! This is what's wrong with our people. White people, koreans, chinese, hispanics, jamaicans, etc. Do not have a fucking designated leader. We need community organizations and people within our communities who share our common interest and goals. We are being kept from the legitimacy of normalcy.

How dare you equate obama to those fearless leaders who werent afraid challenged white supremacy and died for their causes, i cant recall obama ever taking a bold stance on racial issues that still plague this country, not once has he stepped in HBCU and lectured,he thumb his noses at other black leaders who simply want an audience with him, bombing africa, fuck this coon, obama just a light skinned black bush.

Why are you looking for a leader? Where are they gonna lead you?

No one said we needed one fam, I agree with you too. Just a topic to discuss because for the longest time there has always been a figurehead who felt like they represented our race. I was interested in seeing how peoples opinion on that has changed.

THERE ARE NO BLACK LEADERS IN THIS COUNTRY!!:angry::smh::smh:
That's why we keep doing the same dumb shit that keep our asses at the very bottom of everything relevant in this country!

Louis Farrakhan........
He may not represent the black majority but he does represent a large proportion of Blacks Americans.

nah...not even close....but I like the idea that we really don't need a leader to thrive...but we as people need to lead as example to the youth and we will actually be the black leaders for our children....

come on fools. the last real man on the planet was malcolm. every single one of us is PUSSY compared to him.

step up bitches.

I think next to Obama this dude is the most influential & powerful black leader. I know he is not pro black, but the decisions he makes affect ALL Americans. He can't be fired and will likely long out last Obama. Nobody can do anything about the decisions that he is a part of making. Obama's healthcare reform can be repealed if the republicans grow stronger in congress. But the buck stops at the supreme court. Once they rule on something, aint nothing nobody can do about it. And the slight conservative slant of the court give even more weight to his decisions. Yeah, Al Sharpton and Farrakhan have the ears of fragmented segments of the black population, but they have no real power. All they can do is talk and lead marches. But, when this dude makes a decision it is enforced by the entire United States government.

I present to you The Honorable Justice Clarence Thomas. The 2nd most influential and powerful black leader in America.

If you're not pro black, then you're not a black leader! You may be a leader who's black, but you're not a black leader! :itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap:
