I don't, although I am a natural born citizen because my ancestors were involuntarily brought here.
Anyone else with me?

I think you've asked one of THE questions of African American existence.Mike_Lowery said:I don't, although I am a natural born citizen because my ancestors were involuntarily brought here.

I sort of see your point but...blackhunter said:With all do respect, being a black man and a decendent of slaves...Not to discount the pain that black people have toiled to build this b%$#h...but if we wish to technical this country belongs to none of us because it is on land that was not ours to begin with. If it belongs to anybody...it should be native americans.
Your point well taken ... but, its really beyond argument. Its clearly established reality, the doubters confusion notwithstanding. Still, the reasoning used by those of US who disagree, is interesting. The Dark Mind said:The question he asked was about America as it stands now.
And when you think about how ... it could be argued that we are just as American ...
Interesting thoughts. Where do we build/establish this country you envision? Seriously?Temujin said:We need our own country established by us led by us.
Unfortunatly as long as black america is under the delusion that they have been granted full access to this society and are on equal footing with white people we will never begin our journey to establish our own democracy.
This is the only endgame for the majority of black Americans who do not feel a connection to this society. The establishment of our own country that we can call home and take pride in. America is not that.
No not really.
Multiple black men killed last year by the police with eye witness testimony disgarded. They let us know in subtle ways what we are in this country.
Hell yeah I'm doing good here, so are others, but as a community forget about it.
The white americans make laws and decide how to enforce them.
I believe even the UN looked into the united states prison system. Why????? Cause it is the largest in the world, free or not, and minorities make up far to much of the people locked up.
Please!!!!! They let a few of us slip through the cracks of this racist country, but never us as a people. If they see that they just write a law or do some other shit.
Quick example of how we are really looked at AND DEALT WITH.
Sports!! White people tend to play baseball, tennis, hockey, golf. No age limit to turn pro, no dress code for the team sports and no debate about it.
Black folks tend to play football and basketball, but more the nba is a black league.
So what does white america do? HELP THE UNRULY NEGROS. WE TO DUMB TO TURN PRO EARLY LIKE OUR WHITE COUNTERPARTS SO WE NEED AGE LIMITS. WE TO DUMB TO DRESS OURSELVES LIKE OUR WHITE COUNTERPARTS IN BASEBALL WHO SPIT TOBACCO AND PUT THEIR FINGERS UP THEIR NOSE WHEN THEY DON'T PLAY IN A GAME.
Please..... We are not equal. Even the sports world blantantly shows us how we have no say so.
Shit hasn't stopped the game just has been modified. Theres more than one way to skin a cat and the ELITE WHITE RULERS still b a skinnin.
So they can fuck themselves and this country. This country is just a tool for me to use.
They show us everytime we mean shit to them, but from the get go they always used us. Used us for free labor and to fight their wars.
But come back here and its like FUCK YOU.
Bottom line this for yall. We make no laws in this country and no rules in anything major. We can make a lot of money, that's about it. And please don't talk about that vote shit.
Black people in America have no concept of what having a home country is. We are Americans who have never been given full status in this society. We have no political influence, and little economic influence. If we were trully Americans it would be possible to have a black president. That fact that it would be virtually impossible based on institutionalized racism in America.
Like Malcolm X said we are a nation within a nation. The black people of America have never been American this country was built to exploit us and has done so for the the last 3 centuries. We have more in common with each other then this country called America.
The reality of white dominance in this society clearly illustrates that we are not equal members of this society so we can consider ourselves American but in reality America is not OUR country. We need our own country established by us led by us. Ethnic minorities all over the world fight for their home the establishment of countries has been built on this neccessity.
