Looks like one of those "Ace of Cakes" style cakes. The designer does have talent. Perhaps it was a friend/relative of her and the person's present to the bride.
Besides, generally a wedding is more about the bride than the groom, after all, they say it is "her" day to shine.

I think looking at that cake, she finally realized how ugly she is and she's unhappy. And he looks like a simp.
The dress just has too many different themes to it, but it's not the worst I've seen. Many African women have their dresses sewn because it is dirt cheap compared to buying a dress out of the stores. And whoever says the bride is ugly is a piece of shit hater because she is very pretty. I do agree the cake is obnoxiousHerself or her new hubby?
