Man I love the sound. Speakers be knocking but the sound is smooth
my opinion, shes a plant.
We can name many young singers better than her. Tems for example had two massive hits, and is gone. why? I think cuz tyla is a light skin African. And the industry knows we suffer from colorism, especially from Africa. So they have given her the best. Best writers, and producers. She reminds me of Rihanna. A average/below average singer. below average performer. But has something they can get behind for us to believe she is dope.

I wouldn't say lazy, I would say as a newer artist she got caught up in the "show" and attention from the biz.
Remember she did a few late show/ TV performances and then wore some big ass, gaudy ass, ridiculous hat to an awards show? (Mfkrs 3/4 rows back had to look around that big mfkr)
She had to do promo because the WizKid record was doing numbers, but so was the Future/Drake joint and then her record was gaining spins.
There was a time when any 2 of those 3 songs would play back to back on the radio, I'd turn to XM and one of those same songs was playing there at the same time.....
She/ her team let the shit distract her from keeping the music coming. It's hard to do that as a newer artist and if your team is not as seasoned. She has to go to hair/MU for at least 2-3 hrs for each stop, not to mention dress fittings and coordinating themes, for magazines here, appearances there, awards show x, then interview y..... and then try to get her to squeeze in an hr or two at somebody's studio to try to make some music..... that's a tall ask.
Not many female artist rise to that occasion, it's very demanding.

I dont know how much changing she is going to do. She just cancelled her world tour, due to alleged health issues.
Some also speculate that since she only has one hit record, "water", her catalog is not strong enough to carry out a tour at the moment.
If she can stay consistent with more hit records for a couple more years, it would make more sense.
It's gonna be interesting to see if Amapiano is here to stay on a global stage or if it's just the "Flavor of the month".

To me the difference between Tems and Tyla is that Tyla has that "IT" factor. Her personality jumps off the screen, she can dance, write, beautiful and people love her.
Epic records just needs to not fumble the bag and they have a star. Pony up what ever money it takes to get the best producers and writers on her projects
