The black guys plead guilty to torturing and killing the dog. Plus vandalism, death threats, burglary, and cruelty to children. That's why they got 10 years.

The white guy killed some cats and I may be reading this wrong but it looks like the article says the 341 days he's getting is for violating his probation, not for the earlier crime. The prison term for killing the cats was suspended.

There a difference between vandalism, death threats, burglary, and cruelty to children and just killing cats. The white guy that all he did, the black guys did all of above. If they killed the dog they would not done ten years.
