Originally, police did not know exactly how the two women are related.
On Sept. 2, family and friends confirmed the Eden and Feven are siblings who immigrated to Cincinnati from Ethiopia. However, Deresse’s relationship to them is still unclear.
Cincinnati police said they don’t think the shooting was a hate crime.
Police told FOX19 NOW Erickson had a “romantic relationship” with one of the victims.
