White baby names...

I know a lot of black people with some of the"white baby names" listed so far.

Names in the English speaking world whether black or white are generally chosen by how they sound.....However in bygone times and in other parts of the world there is a social science in how names are given to children and attention is paid to that science before a name is chosen.
Different cultures have different sciences as to how they select their names and the meaning of the name is generally very important........

Very true...but that rarely happens in America...an extremely large proportion of Americans, white or black, do not have the slightest inkling as to what their names mean...

As for me, my parents are of foreign backgrounds, so I'm fortunate enough to have been born with a name that actually has a meaning...although ignorant American fucks butcher the fuck out of it, but at least my name signifies something...
