Alex Smith fucked it up for him showing how an Urban Meyer QB translates to the pros. That being said, I'm sure some team not hurting for a QB will be intrigued by his "intangibles" and draft him late in the first round (think Matt Jones to Jacksonville) and use him similar to Kordell Stewart.
Basically. Urban Meyer has yet to have a QB do well in the league.
First it was Josh Harris. Flop
Then it was Omar Jacobs. Flop
Then Alex Smith. Flop
Tebow is next....
Some people fail to understand that Tebow has only taken 2 snaps under center in his time at Florida. One being taking a knee on Saturday at the end of the game. Is there an NFL team that runs 99% shotgun? That is the flaw with the Florida offense, He can go in the late second round unless he proves that he can get under the center and run that offense. You saw what it did to Vince Young!
he gonna go to the league next year as A QB the league is changing the QB is becoming more of an athlete than they have in the last 50 years. That being said defense is getting faster stronger so Tebow is gonna be that next level QB nice arm 30 yrds or so but can flat out get the chains moving with arm or legs. ITs funny VICK and Randall C showed the way but a white boy is gonna get the credit. He will do some damage in AZ, miami, maybe minnasota a team that has a nice life and fast skilled players will love him the Wildcat and wishbone are gonna be the league in the next few years its exciting and it gets you best players on the field at all time,
Detroit would be the perfect team for him to go to because it would be a win win situation being that Detroit hasn't had a good qb in ages and if tebow played poorly at least the lions took a gamble.
Tebow will be an excellent quarterback, if he can get with the right qb coach/head coach/ O coordinator....and Vince Young is still young....the fiary tale that is Kerry Collins won't last long...Vince will be back.
If he can catch, he'll wind up being a Chris Cooley type of player. Either that or he can try and play saftey like Scott Frost from Nebraska did years back. Either way, he'll be a late rounder.
