Where Were You When Tupac Died?

I was pulling off the vegas strip with some of my partners bragging about how we capped some small nigga talking shit out the passenger side of a European whip at a stoplight...

What? Did I miss something....:hmm:

I was in school at Barber-Scotia and came outside of the dorm and noticed the west coast folks were crying. I was like WTF is up with them? They were like Pac got shot! Im like huh? Oh he will survived he has that Robeson County blood in him! Then when I found out he died, I started crying.

His mother is from my hometown and some kin to my grandmother. I've never met him or his mother. She lives right down the street from my uncle on a ranch that use to be nothing but a forest that I used to play in as a kid. I dont know how many acres it is but it sure is big.

If some of you remember an old XXL issue when they interviewed his mother Afeni, they show a memorial she had build for Tupac in the XXIT part(last page of the mag). That is the place im refering to. They did the interview at her house in my hometown. You can see the memorial from the road. She has horses and cows around. I will try to take pics of it when I go home this wknd...

I was with my boy Chris. in west covina, and we knew he was dead 4 hours before everyone else because his moms was one of the nurses working on him. she told us he was dead because before she left work they stopped asking for more blood to give him. They were just waiting for the right time to tell everybody the news. but when would be the right time to tell us.

I was headed to the movies with my girlfriend at the time. I had to pull over on the side of the road.

........you cried? wtf?

Shiiit I cried .......... when this nigga died.:(

Im sorry people did I miss something???

Did Tupac, march on washington, free the slaves, walk on water?

In fact was Tupac the first cat to do anything that didn't include album sales?

Not to piss on ya'lls parade *unzips zipper* but outside of producing a couple of bangin albums, writing some poetry, and mostly talking shit he really didn't do nothing that profound...

Oh, and for you fanboys who are about to say that 2pac was in the "Malcolm Little" phase of his development let me enlighten you...

NO ONE GAVE A FUCK ABOUT "RED", CAUSE "RED" WASN'T ABOUT SHIT (SELF PROCLAIMED IN HIS BOOK BY THE WAY)... NOW MALCOLM X HOWEVER IS HISTORIC FIGURE. NOW TUPAC COULD HAVE TRANSFORMED INTO MALCOLM X BUT HE DIED MALCOLM LITTLE. :hmm:

I just don't get it. He's the black man's Elvis. A talented rapper let his internal (self created) demons get the best of him.

*zips up zipper* In my opinion of course. Go back to mourning a dead rapper. We will be doing Big Pun later next week.

Wow...

...nevertheless I'll bite.

Seventh grade pre-algebra class thinking simultaneously that moms need to find a new favorite rapper and why is this chick crying in the back of my class?

She IDOLIZED Tupac and the BPP at the time and damn near fainted. Had to be carried out of class. I think the school set up some counseling later on that day...

I was in front of Big Daddy's on Cascade about to get out of the car when i heard that shit on the radio. I just sat there for a minute.

I was in 5th grade at the time. Didn't really care, though I cant say the same for most of my peers, as after his death he became martyr in most of their eyes, and the subject of many black history reports for many, many, years to come.

I was in bed with some chick from Norfolk State at the Navy Lodge. I just got finished beating the guts.

in my dorm my freshman year of college getting smoked out with a chick. i remeber she was trying to act all sad and the funny thing is she is a white chick that was into country music and shit (i'm from Lousiana).
