Funny thing about that is I got my permit when I was 16. In NYS you are supposed to have fully licensed adult in the car with you while driving with a permit. Which I did not respect or abide by. I drove a 1985 5 speed Nissan Maxima to Toronto from NYC that year with that permit. Of course it wasn't my car and I wasn't alone. Then I proceeded to drive all over Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Scarborough, Milton, Guelph and so many other places in Ontario. By the time I ran and got my license before my permit expired I was no longer as eager to drive. I even took the road test in my 1978 5 Speed Toyota Celica. A car I would never drive to school or park anywhere in the South Bronx, where my HS was located.

Straight like that. First place I went was to Blockbuster video to rent some movies, then I went to pick my girl up from her house, stop by the KFC to get us some grub before heading back to my mama crib with the food, movies, and pussy. Life was grand.
