Very interesting. I see something unique looking at this map.
People from democrat states are leaving for republicans ones.

In time, their ideologies will permeate itself into the existing culture and slowly move it closer to the left.
Texas knows this all too well from the influx of Californians moving to their state.

Idk there's been a sites dedicated to republican Californians who 'feel' they're not being heard.

I gotta be near water, preferably a beach. Warm weather but not insanely hot.
good schools and good higher education

NC seems like a good mix. Raleigh area or Charlotte .. a ton of Universities....outer banks, VA Beach and SC beaches not too far away.. college and professional sports. Food and climate. Major airports..

I'm sure they'll get a mix bag of folks moving in but at the end of the day I presume it's mostly liberals moving their.

that's cool and all if you're all about money. doesn't take into account who you are living with, environment, and if you get the same treatment as those around you.

True, but if you got the money to have some distance from people and save some money for added security some of these categories matter.

Not surprised to see SC and NC #2 and #6. Cost of living is stupid cheap, hella land, and access to beaches and mountains...

I was really surprised my home state of SC was #2, but the cost of living is stupid cheap....

How was it as far as diversity, or feeling comfortable if lack thereof?
The place is 90% White but walking through the main drag and eating outside of tourist spots, I didn't get that 'what are you doing here vibe. I was visiting as a hotel guest but I still felt comfortable walking through the town.
