When did 9/11 start losing its relevancy to you?

Once I got home and found out everybody that mattered to me was safe. Did lose one dude though. Not during, after. He was part of the clean up crew..

When you’re in the room when your co-worker gets a call from her fiancé telling her he’s not going to make it, he loves her, and he wants her to live her life. And you hear the panic and pain in her voice, then you see her lose her mind afterward telling people she’s engaged for months after he’s already gone...

That shit stays with you.

I know BGOL is too cool to give a fuck about anything and hates everybody, but I hope I never get so emotionally fucked up that nothing moves me.

When the government kidnapped everybody on those “planes” and flew holograms into the towers then imploded them along with building 7. Then drone struck the pentagon. Then they showed re runs of the studio moon landing broadcast from the flat earth.

Crazy how I wasn’t seeing much about this 9/11 shit today only on social media here and there

Because it never really happened b.

When we didn't attack the Saudis and invaded Iraq. :smh: World War II lasted six years and we were involved for four. We have been in the Middle East because of 9/11 since 2003. It is crazy that the same cacs who were ready to fight defending Bush and the damn war now pretend they were never for it. :smh:

The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous...

Stopped giving a F when I found out Bush was warned about it but didn’t take any action and got re-elected in 2004. Realized it was karma for the hypocrisy of these United States. When Zimmerman got found not guilty for stalking, starting a fight, and eventually killing Trayvon.

So, everybody here thought that

on 9-12, the attack just another

day because your family was ok

and it was mostly a bunch of

white people that died that day?

Really?

No it’s sad that the US government would go to such extremes and risk the lives of so many of its people all for control and money

Why is there no clear cut proof about any of the fucking planes in 18 years?

How the fuck does the trade center implode?

Too many shady ass questions

Not enough valid answers

That same day. I wasn't flying a lot back then. I didn't know anyone in NYC and I already had my discharge papers from the Air Force.

I thought about all the black folks that were fighting to get a job with NYFD, even going as far as filing a class action lawsuit because of the racist hiring practices.

I started to wonder how many of them were grateful not to be a fireman that day.

What does 9/11 has to do with sports?

I really hate hearing stories about it during sports talk.

I was living in Harlem when it happened and I walked all the way down to where they blocked the street at Canal.

Ghouliani's shameful milking of tragedy and that bullshit 'Let's Roll' story really soured it for me.

Shit is annoying as fuck. :smh: The thing I will never forget from that era of cac craziness is them running an ad in Georgia comparing Max Cleland with Saddam and bin Laden:smh:

A fucking triple amputee veteran wasn't "patriotic" enough for them

I have never and will never get over 9/11. That day will stay with me the rest of my life. I had people that made it home from the pentagon when it got hit and they arrived home with shock in their eyes and covered in dust. My cousin fought in both campaigns after that and that was his way of dealing with 9/11. Till this day if I mention 9/11 he gets that “thousand yard stare” and we change the conversation.

Nah man, I don’t play when it comes to 9/11 and I will fight you over it. Too many of my countrymen lost their lives on that day and because of that day. I will always observe 9/11.

The militant in me wants to not give a damn because that day cacs in America, if for one day only, knew what it was like to be a Black man in America. Meaning that you could be minding your damn business when someone who doesn't like you could take your life away without a 2nd thought.

The caring side gives condolences to the family and friends that are effected to this day.

9/11 lost its relevance for racist white folks on 11/04/2008 when Obama wasn't elected.

That then became their new 9/11.
