LOL I had a paper at one time called the soul paper, main target was black churches. But I did not have the backing I needed to keep it going right. Being at the grass roots level I used two different names press with my zip code added to it. And I used pookie more of a regular black man that is trying. But having my name legally changed to Black Original Nation may have been trying to move to fast. I may have gotten ahead of myself.
Of course a lot of newspapers have lost circulation because of the internet. I look at "THIS IS 50" and other like that. I know that having your own press gives you a little bit of movement to get about and learn more. To build a nation you need money regardless. But you also need information. Very accurate information that you can count on. So as I work toward the money I am still working on being an information center. I grabbed "Hard Work Pays" a long time ago, back when CompuServe (remember that) went from you being a number to having a name.. I have secured websites, some email addresses, etc. and had them for 10-15 years.. It has always been how I see life, and that advice has NEVER failed me.. I know and have experience racism, been wrongly accused of shit, and had my fair share of setbacks. There has been nothing I've NOT been able to overcome by hard work.

I did not know my grammar was so bad. But all I did was get my material together then I had my sister do the rest. That was before she went into the Air Force. She did the pictures and redid what I bought to her. She was not paid. And I decided to close down around the time she went in. She recently came back from England and now she is in Texas. Once she finished I stapled everything together and took it to a printing company. So the whole staff was me and her. To me a press card means a lot. I know one dude that lives in Georgia who gets on the computer everyday and search for events, (turkey day, fashion shows etc.) what ever he can find. Then he go there and film it. Then he edit it and take it to black music stores and have it placed there for fee. He also has a web site that local women have came to him to make money. I am to busy hustling everyday to try to do the SOUL PAPER again. But if I had kept it going it probably would have been successful. I know I would learn ways to improve it. I would have been lost for a while without my sister.
