Gamestop had Alien Isolation for $17.00 so I picked it up. I haven't died or seen the Alien yet and I'm already like nope. The sound effects are making me jump. Moreover, I think I heard that summa ma bitch walking.

I've never been a big gamer. I didn't even really think they made scary video games, I never knew there was a market for them. At my age, I'm just not into being scared unecessarily. What's the scariest video game you've ever played?

That Alien joint is scary as hell lol. I made my girl watch people on Twitch play that shit with the surround sound on....pure comedy

Came in here to say the first Resident Evil. I know the exact part you're talking about....you're walking down a hallway and the zombie jumped through the window....fuck that game lol

Probably that old game resident evil back when I played it on PS 1 or 2... The things jumping through windows and stuff. Not cool

Yeah,I believes its the one I had where you had the doberman dogs that would jump at you and following that ghost child down into the morgue.

That's as scarey as it got for me,I was a kid staying up late fucking with that game, talking to myself and whispering shit.

I'm surprised so many people got tweeked playing this shit used to give me the chills playing at night like let me cut this shit off till the sun come up

:roflmao2:

I'm glad you wrote that. Because I decided that I won't play this game at night anymore either--I thought I was being a bitch for thinking that. I use surround sound gaming headphones. It's impossible not to jump playing this game whilst wearing them.

RE2 when the dogs jumped through the window and my surround sound was on point i said nope no more I'm good

Walking through that mansion was shaky as hell waiting for Tyrant or them damn dogs to bust through the walls on your ass, Max Payne for PS1 had some shaky moments too with them junkies and creepy ass music

Resident Evil 2!

Also, the part in Max Payne where you had to play his nightmares...

I was just going to say Resident Evil 1. I was onboard the USS Clark playing it on the lounge TV when those zombie dogs jumped through the window.

I dropped the controller and screamed and the other three guys who are watching me play the game Screamed too. We looked at each other afterward like, "Let's never ever speak of this,"

The fast monsters with the big claws near the end of the game were also really scary

:lol:man that shit was creepy, and I hated that level when he got injected with valkyr and you had to walk and jump through the blood line trails man it took me 10 times to get past that level im shaking stumbling and fumbling

Did the same with that level too..couldnt take all that damn screaming every five or six minutes

also i hate those levels in FPS games where you have to swim underwater to reach a certain area(games like CoD Ghosts,Dishonored,Far Cry 4 etc)..GTA V counts too especially if you be scuba diving in 1st person mode :smh:

FATAL FRAME without a doubt. Bought that game and played maybe 20 minutes of it... and whelp... :itsawrap: :dunno:

the original doom is up there

Dead space is up there

for me, fatal frame was more psychological terror. In resident evil the main character is a cop, in other games like doom or dead space the character is a soldier, but you almost always have a gun of some kind (or at some point you know you're going to get a gun) for me, that gun psychologically, represents power- even if it's a little pistol that really won't do anything, it's comforting in a strange way to know "I have this gun, I have a chance".

In fatal frame the main character is this little girl "armed" with nothing but a fucking camera! OH HELL NO- intellectually, I know it's a game. Game-mechanic wise, I know the camera serves the same function as a gun does in other games, but walking through that creepy

ass house? all alone? nothing but a fucking camera? playing that shit at night? FUUUUUCCCCKKK THAAAAAATT

Man, listen; I hate A-N-Y game where you have to swim through a large expanse of water or swim under water. Even kid games like mario. and if the "breath meter" is visible on the screen? and/or the screen starts doing shit when you are about to run out of breath? :smh: For whatever reason, that shit does not sit well with me. Bad part, I'm a strong swimmer IRL :smh:

Manhunt is a stealth-based survival horrorvideo game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was originally released for the PlayStation 2 on November 18, 2003, and for Microsoft Windows and Xbox on April 20, 2004. The game was also re-released through the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Players control James Earl Cash (voiced by Stephen Wilfong), a death row prisoner forced to participate in a series of snuff films for an underground director, former film producer Lionel Starkweather (Brian Cox).

The game received positive reviews by critics, with particular praise directed at its dark tone and violent nature. The game also received great controversy, due to the level of graphic violence in the game. It was banned in several countries, and implicated in a murder by the UK media, although this implication was later rejected by the police and courts. The game won several accolades, and spawned the sequel Manhunt 2 in 2007. As of March 2008, the series has collectively sold 1.7 million copies.

Them Android/Robots chasing you is NERVE racking in that game. You got to do some good hiding from that Alien. I started it but started playing SOMA and havnt looked back. Finish later!

In no particular order:
Silent Hill 2
Eternal Darkness
Alien Isolation
Outlast
Resident Evil 7

Beating Alien Isolation is one of my greatest accomplishments as a gamer. The Alien A.I. is unscripted so you can never predict his movements. The best advice I can give you if you're scared is to let the alien kill you a few times. You will then realize it's just a game.

Oh, and, stay away from the vents. Trust me.

Bruh... that eternal darkness: sanity's requim was a mufucca!

Game did all kinds of crazy shit. The statues looking at you as you walked by, walking into rooms and you're tiny and everything else was big, the bathtub full of blood with the body, body swinging from a noose in a kitchen over the piano, hell it even went Microsoft's blue screen of death on me once!

That game was CRAZY
