What's the nicest thing you've done for a stranger?

1. Pouring, pouring, pouring rain. Saw a Hispanic guy standing at a bus stop. We were on our way to church. Gave guy an umbrella. He said he didn't have any money. Didn't want any money.

2. Saw a woman crying in a restaurant. Arguing with someone on the phone. She didn't have enough money to pay for her meal. I paid for her meal without her knowledge.

3. Won't even mention clients.

4. Before someone else says it, I handed out dick to strangers.

Lets warm the frozen tundra.

  • Struck up a conversation with an old woman in a diner. She told me her car was in the shop. I finished my meal and paid for hers on the way out the door.
  • Ran into a homeless guy downtown St. Louis. He told me he was hungry. I took him to the restaurant I was heading to and bought us both meals. Put $40 in his hand before I left.
  • Put $150 on Leonard Peltier's daughter's books while she was in prison up in South Dakota.

Pulled over on the side of the highway and changed a tire for an older woman. I knew the highway tow was going to fleece her just to take her to the exit and it took me less than ten minutes to complete. She was near tears that someone helped her and tried to give me money but I told her to "pay forward" to the next person.

Done a lot. I do mean a lot... These are the most memorable

1. Back in my college day, this old Irish homeless guy walked into a luxury residential building I did concierge work for to warm himself up. It was probably 5 degrees or less at the time, so I let him stay by the door as it was overnight and no one was around. He and I struck a convo and he told me about his glory days in the streets as a tough bare knuckles type who was respected, feared, and known. We had a few good laughs and talked about boxing and fighting. I ended up giving him a coat I was VERY fond of so that he may keep warm. I ended up going home with a old janitor's coat I found in storage later that mornring. Some homeless men have very interesting life stories...

2. I was once about to board the train in the downtown area and was randomly approached by this old Asian lady who needed help to get someplace. She did not speak a lick of english, but yet picked me to help out of all the folks who she could have selected. Must have been energy. She simply gave me a piece of paper and it was a court summons and I knew she was trying to get there. I boarded the train with her and took her there and basically did all the paperwork for her until it was time for her to enter the courtroom. They brought out the offender and it was her son. The judge and everybody there is looking at me like "what's the connection"? Even the son was like "Ma who the @#$% is this? He was being charged with a serious charge too. She cried and looked at me and was so thankful despite there being no understanding between whatever words were exchanged between us. Weird episode in my life...

Was in Walmart shopping in the daytime during the week when I used to work graveyards. Seen a young teen sitting down and asked her why she wasn't in school. She was 13 and pregnant and missed her bus to school and was trying to get to her grandmother's house. I gave her some bus fare money and gave her my number and told her to give me a call with her grandmother on the phone also. Ended up getting the teen a car seat and some baby clothes for her once she got the gender of the baby. They all doing good now, she graduated school in a special program and now just got her cosmetology license so she making a decent living.

Two young sisters broke down at this country store in the middle of nowhere. Both were crying. They were freshmen at N.C A&T and was trying to get back to school. They were about 200 miles from the school and their hometown. The car's fan belt was broke. I went to Autozone and brought one for them. I put it on and they were back on the road.

Pay for a couple nights at a hotel for a woman and her kids after seeing they were on the streets.

Was talking to this guy in Krogers not knowing his story, come to find out he had just gotten out of prison and he said he was looking for work and ironically another friend was looking for help. I called my friend at that moment, they talked and he left Krogers to go meet my friend right then. Still works for him now, it's been two years ago. Haven't seen the guy since that day but I know he's still there.

One of my daughters friend was giving her mom trouble, they were about 13. Her parents were an interracial separated couple and she was having a hard time identifying with herself. I said let me take her for the summer, had zero problems out of her. She starting going to church with us and to this day says I helped her change her life for the better. She's a really great respectful person and will call me before her mom if she's in a crisis.

Besides that I'm always buying food, clothes, giving gas or whatever if I know someone is in need. At times I really don't like being a giver, but it's who I am.

This one really pulled at my heartstrings.
My son was cheating on his GF and the girl he was cheating was in a relationship too. She became pregnant, from day one she said it may not be his. Well fast forward time for the baby. My son was out of town and I really don't know about the other guy. Well when she called I talked to her and asking who's with you, are you ready, blah blah and she said the baby would be born in a few hours, again she's by herself. ALONE. Well I was going that way the next day anyway which was 3 hours away, but who delivers a baby by themselves.

Come to find out, none of her family showed up at all. I got there and sat up there about three hours to let her rest. Well it wasn't his baby, and her BF is still around, but I still do for the baby because I just kept thinking about her being alone.

I can't really explain it, I didn't want the baby to be his but no person should be alone in a time like that.

brought a lil girl a dora doll and accessories at a store on my bday..she really wanted it but her moms was denying her and said she couldn't buy it and lil girl started crying..i was like fuck it, it's my bday and told the lady what's the damage..she was like no sir you don't have to do it..i was like does she get good grades..her mom was like yes..i was like well my bday is everybody bday so my gift of living another yr will be me doing more good deeds put it on my tab..i brought it..lil girl face was like:eek::eek::eek::eek:..she never let go of the doll and box..funny watching her try to lug that shit down the street..the box was bigger than her

i gave somebody basically a few new hardly worn coats at the laundry yrrsss back.. to this day i seen that dude every now and again and he always gives me the biggest dap cause he remembers that

this summer i had a shitload of situations where i had to damn near be a hero.. a dude fell to the ground and was having chest pains..i lifted him up, gave him some aspirin, called 911, stayed with him the whole time till they got there, told them all his info, made sure he was good... i think a chick got roofied at a nightclub and literally was out cold i mean next level out cold..her friends were trying to wake her up no signs of moving, no reaction, body was juss straight dead, had to call 911 and i picked her up and put her on the stretcher, countless yanking people out the way of cars, buses, even the train(fucking idiots don't pay attention to traffic or their surroundings)...oh yeah a new dominoes opened up on 14st during the summer and was selling medium pies for 3 bucks for a day..so i brought 10 pies and randomly gave it to homeless people

i mean i've done a lot of random shit..pack up mad left over food from bbq's and give it to homeless, get random free shit like food, liqs, supplies, mags, etc and literally juss give it to random people..give out coupons to shit at clothing stores, electronic stores, products..hell i use to be big on that make mad copies of coupons and randomly go to stores and give it out to people all kinda 20 percent or more off, buy 1 get 1 free, buy 1 get another half off, etc..free passes to shit like movies, did it for a sporting event, did it for an convention..bunch of other stuff can't think of at the moment

I saw a dude flip his car at an intersection at around 1am. I sat him next to my car, called 911 and waited until rescue came.
wow..back when i was a teen.. a car flipped over a block away from me and my friends..we ran over to it and had to break open the window and pull 2 girls out and the drunk nig that was driving it..shit kinda crazy how you react without thinking when it comes to saving lives..had to do a lot of random shit like that in my life

5 a.m. After a drunken labor day night , im driven home and i get to a red light in a turning lane. The light turns green and the person in front of me is not moving. I start getting agry, cursing and blowing my horn, then i drive around the person about to go on my way. I notice its and older person so i back up and start to see whats up. Old obese guy says he ran out of gas, no cell phone and his knees are bad. I pushed his car by myself 1/4 mile up the re across thw highway to a gas station.
Dude offered me some cash, i told him no thanks, went inside and told the attendant there is someone outside in need of help and went on my wat.
