Man, I don't think the dude had enough room to do that ~that was a tight space....
Ain't no way I'm stopping on a highway like that, especially with vehicles in my rear view. I would've made an attempt to swerve, and hope I miss or only clip it.

To tell you the truth, I would have hit the dog. That's what they say you should do with deers, if you can't avoid it then hit it and be safe. Why should a dog be any different? & I love dogs....
