Carl is just a little unsupervised brat, on the Walking Dead show, that fucks everything up and nothing ever happens to is his ass. lol

1) dropping 15 zombies with a semi auto pistol (depending upon their distance) would not be that easy either. and when you exhaust your ammo (depending upon distance), how efficient are you at reloading your weapon?

2) the machete gives you an option unavailable with firearms (excluding some k-bars). you can hobble unlimited zombies with a machete, making escape more possible.

im not against having a machete TOO
but to have a machete solo and nothing else? or just a sword and nothing else? no.

and it depends on the weapon of choice (reloading) but im sure that i could reload quicker than i could try and regroup and gain high ground or a different advantage so the zombies don't bite me.

and you can hobble zombies but i don't want to hobble them i want to kill them. they don't ever give up
i'd have both a gun and in tight situation a machete of some kind.

Fuck all the dumb shit, if I had to deal with zombies, I'd want to have a good ol' NC-1701 handy. I'd just sit in that baby, cruise around and blast every zombie my scanners picked up. I'd even drop bombs just to lure them in mass numbers to an area then zap them. And I'd do it all from the comfort of low Earth orbit.

And if by some chance they managed to teleport aboard, give me a few of these to disintegrate them completly.

We are after all, talking about an imaginary scenario. So why not use imaginary weaponry???

What are zombies gonna do when they can't get to me??? And fuck a headshot when a hit anywhere on them disintegrates them into nothing. No head, no zombie.

Ya I fuckin hate how easily they make characters reload and shit under pressure...one old flick maybe one of the Terminator joints or it was a cop flick I think where a muthafucka reloaded a full clip w/ one hand the other hand was shot or some shit while under fuckin fire in a matter of seconds
