Not gonna lie.. Fresh Prince is my favorite show but a serious, darker take on it would be interesting. Some of Fresh Prince's best moments were the more serious, darker segments.

true...but maybe because they were few and far between.. turning a situation COMEDY into a drama with some funny moments is a 180 degree turn..BUT its been over 20 years and a new generation so

Yeah, I agree he did a great job atleast from the pics and the trailer

Would you rather him play the reimaged Will Smith or the kid in the trailer?

I think the kid in the trailer does a good job of reimaging a more serious, gritty Will.

But I think there is a place for Jaden in the show and it would basically be Will giving his blessing, especially when you can consider that Will is a bit protective of the Fresh Prince.

Maybe let him play "Ty" one of Will's friends from the earlier seasons..

well bringing in jaden as a 21st century bel air will smith would literally be the next generation. maybe that move would be a little too cute by half but jaden IS an actor and its a role he could play dark like that.
