i think its way more drama in hockey.
Hockey overtimes are better than basketball. Because just like in football, one score will end the game.
But for me, it's the drama of the moment that adds to the excitement. In order for there to be drama, there must be a buildup to it. And (announcers aside), there is nothing that builds up to a dramatic point like in a baseball game. There is a drama and tension on every pitch. And there is a point in every at bat where you KNOW something dramatic is about to happen. Just not sure what it will be. Basketball is similar in that there can be drama on every possession.
