Monsters all three seasons
The outer limits(The 90s series)

I think years down the line (once Better Call Saul wraps up) I'll go back and watch Breaking Bad & Saul in succession. Both series are still fresh in my mind. I'll want to rewatch for stuff I missed the first go-around.

Also thinking about going back and watching Six Feet Under. Saw about 70 - 80% of that show when it intially aired. Need to see that in full without missing eps here and there along the way.

Seinfeld
Sanford and Son
Married With Children
Cosby Show
Martin
Different World
Fresh Prince
The Wire
Breaking Bad
Game Of Thrones
Law & Order

I'm near the end of Deadwood. I'm on Season three episode 5. And I can already tell. I'm going to watch this again. Oz and Six deer under, is next on my list.

My pops was a fan of Deadwood. He wants to check out the movie from earlier this year. Have you checked it out yet? What's it like?

No. Not yet. I'm going to try and finish today. After I finish the series. I'm going to watch the movie right away. One of my coworkers, has said the movie is just like the show. He didn't spoil the movie for me.

But he said it takes place like 10 to 15 years. After the last episode. And that everyone from the original cast was in it. Except a few that past away. While the show was off the air. And he said it was like the show was never off the air.

That's great to hear. That it didn't feel forced. Pops was thinking about having a movie night with some cousins later this summer ... was thinking about that movie, but myself and the cousins didn't catch the series. So it probably wouldn't work with us not knowing the characters. Thinking up some action flicks that might be a movie night possibility. Saw John Wick 3 on the big screen for Father's Day, lol. Been watching City on a Hill, Yellowstone, and Chernobyl with pops in recent weeks when hanging out tv series-wise.

I recently rewatched sopranos and boardwalk empire...sopranos I enjoyed on a whole new level...the last time I watched the entire series was close to 15 years ago...boardwalk empire I didn’t enjoy as much...the easiest series for me to marathon tho is spartacus...I’ve seen it about 4-5x times now...I’ve seen clips from the wire so many times it’d be impossible for me to go back and watch the series in its entirety...I’ve spent hours just rewatching individual scenes and shit...I used to rewatch the chappelle show like crazy when I had the DVDs

I literally have the Sopranos on a permanent loop. Highest rewatch-ability of any drama I can think of.

when I first watched the series I didn’t appreciate how funny it was...recently some cats posted some clips and I was laughing hard as hell like I was watching a clip from “curb...” or “always sunny...” then I read an interview from chase where he stated he didn’t want the show to be boxed in solely as a drama and that he viewed it as very much a comedy as well...gave me a whole different perspective and level of enjoyability as I rewatched the show...the show damn near borders on being a parody of the mafia...extremely fine line between drama/comedy

Some shows leaving indelible imprint on you. Years after they've been taken off the air, you can go back and pick them up again and get lost in a few episodes or even the whole series.

Right now I'm on a Fringe kick. I've seen it before, this might be my 3rd re-watch. I know I could be watching Punisher season 2 or some other Netflix show or movie, but this show really grabs me. I like Syfy and this is one of the good ones most of the way through (season 5 was rushed because Fox was trying to pull the plug on it so they wanted to give the show a proper ending)

Shows like Justified, Game of Thrones and The Wire come to mind as those shows you can always come back to and get lost because they were that good.

What shows can you re-watch over and over again?
Everybody hate Chris, My name Israel, Bernie Mack Show, The Office

Maaaannnn...so true. Interesting that you mention that because I just watched the season 4 ep “Christopher” yesterday. That entire ep is pure comedy.

The whole series is hilarious but there are certain eps/scenes that still have me cracking up: the Christopher/Paulie interaction in “Pine Barrens” (and when Bobby shows up to Junior’s house wearing his hunting clothes, when Tony laughs - one of the only times during the entire series when he genuinely laughs - AND the way Junior looks at Bobby), the scene when Carmela is introduced to Tony’s therapy in “Another Toothpick,” and of course the intervention scene in “The Strong, Silent Type.”

Man that serious is absolutely brilliant.

I think people should hold judgement and wait. To hear both sides, because there has been a pattern of people jumping the gun. Females making false accusations then 2 weeks later, we get the REAL story.

Should be interesting to see how this all plays out. He has admitted over the years being a pussyhound in his younger years. Wife filing for divorce earlier this year (possibly while information was being gathered for the recent LA Times story), and the fall from grace with one of his best friends, Chris D'Elia, being in the news in recent months too. He's been out of town lately and missed a few of their podcast episodes. They usually release them on Monday/Wednesday, and have been doing some Friday shows in recent months. He noted on Twitter he'd be addressing the allegations in an additional episode being released today (Saturday).

Its getting harder and harder to go back and rewatch series

There is so much NEW stuff coming every day...

And i like to really WATCH a show and focus not just have it running on the background

I really want to rewatch Mad Men, The Shield, Low Winter Sun the tick

The best i try to do is rewatch a previous season just before the new season drops

I'd love to do that with the boys

Agreed. There is so much content these days it's hard to keep track of everything. Especially with all the legit recommendations from peers, podcasters, critics, etc. Told my pops he should check out Low Winter Sun recently. He only caught the 1st ep' back when it aired. I really enjoyed that series.

Low Winter Sun is an American crime drama television series that aired on AMC from August 11 to October 6, 2013, for one season consisting of ten episodes. The series was developed by Chris Mundy and starred Mark Strong and Lennie James. It is based upon the 2006 British two-part miniseries of the same name which also starred Strong in the same role.[1] Filmed and set in Detroit, Michigan, the series follows detectives Frank Agnew and Joe Geddes after they murder a corrupt cop and attempt to cover it up, and explores organized crime in Detroit. The series received generally mixed reviews and AMC announced in December 2013 that it had canceled the series.[2]
