what kind of rims should i get for this car

i have 20s and the worst thing about them is that you feel every single bump in the road. i dont know if anyone else has that problem, but its annoying. and when i pile a few of my boys in the vehicle the added weight makes the rims scrape the ground when i drive over uneven pavement. probably since the tires are so skinny. so i have a bit of curb rash on them. they look good but its more trouble than its worth in my opinion. besides that, the car drives totally different than when i had my stock rims on. the best way to describe it is that its almost as if the car has a mind of its own. especially on uneven pavement. like ill be driving along then all of a sudden the car feels like its drifting back and forth. i thought it might be an alignment issue but the guy at the shop told me that my shit was fine so the only thing that i can think of are the rims. other disadvantages that ive heard of but havent had any problems with are strain on your wheel bearings that will potentially make them go out and they cost about 1/4 the cost of all four rims to replace, and ive also heard of problems with putting a strain on your transmission but that sounds like BS to me...as far as advantages, i cant give you any except for the fact that theyre flashy and are definite attention getters.
Sounds to me you shouldn't get any rims.

Make sure you don't go put some gody chrome rims on that. It will cut the performance of the car. I would say find some lightweight wheels and go from there. I used to be into fixing up a car like that, but now that I paid some money on my car I prefer to roll with whats on the car. On my IS 250 I upgraded to the smoke wheels on it. I haven't lost any performance and they look great.

For that specific car, No Chrome, bruh. Go straight gunmetal grey on that bitch, it's the only way. 
If you can, get it on a nice lil' staggered stance since the design on it has that kind of downward slope from the rear to the front.

I gotta say that those factory wheels look pretty good on the bitch, why not just get those powder-coated gunmetal grey for now? I personal think that'd look as good as any of rim you can throw on that joint. What size are those?

@ some of these posts! Dude didn't indicate that this is his last $1,500 and that he has to decide between getting some rims or paying his rent! He's talking about 18's or 19's (or 20's at the max). I could see if he was wanting some giant chrome 24's on it but you can get the right set of 18's with the tires for $1,000. Shit I'm sure some members on here spend that much on other stuff they don't need or things that don't last as long as rims on their car. Plus now would be a good time to hit up your local rim shop. Three of our rim shops in town have gone out of business due to no customers, so you might be able to get a good deal at a shop just because they need the business.On 19's with a 2 inch drop

If you're see so called nuckle heads like that. It means you live in the same community as them. Its not like that around where I live. Even in my folks neighborhood. Folks have gaudy cars, but there homes are paid for and kids out of college. Step your game up who you fucking with.
