All these "ock" threads expose more about the jokers than they do about the pics of the dudes they "expose". People have myspace and such for their own personal reasons, but for a man to go track down another man's page and post his pictures on a site full of men in search of porn (among other things) is nothing short of homo.
I throw myself in the line of fire for one reason - to urge you all to stop condoning this faggotry. Sure it may be funny at times, and some dudes look like straight clowns, but look at the bigger picture:
THERE ARE MEN ON THIS BOARD CONSTANTLY SEARCHING OTHER FORUMS AND SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES TO TRACK DOWN IMAGES OF RANDOM MEMBERS. What the fuck is funny about that? For every picture or myspace page they are able to find, there are probably dozens of users they failed to expose. The real loser is the dude that is actually sitting at a PC devoting time out his life to look at the picture of a man in his living room, or the head-shot (no homo) of another.
If some of you feel like you can't go without browsing for other men - then fine, so be it. But at least try and limit your "ock" threads to dudes that deserve to be "ocked". Taking the pic of a dude in a suit, then photoshoping his head on a gay man to make a gif is not funny.
I laughed at Lakers32 when i first started using BGOL, but I felt sorry for him. I didn't know what he did to deserve the "ocking", but based on the feedback he wasn't too popular here. That's an entirely different story, however, from "exposing" donating members that didn't do shit.
