Got a job at new roc in ny. Right after orientation my boy and I said fuck this! Quit doing training! Then sears. Hardware dept. 1 month. Fuck this!

stock brokerage trainee lasted two days
1.giving cold calls at stock brokerage to get leads to give to stock brokers. they had limited chairs so if you don't arrive early you stand or ??? it was a corporate environment but felt like a boiler room (shady ) environment.they give index cards of like 500 names to call an all day your calling using a summary of shit to recite. the stock brokers teased us and yelled at us especially we wore cheap ties and shirts and they dressed in nice suits.I quit two days. still shocked i stayed two days. i should've left that first day.

2. salesman. lasted half a day
i applied for salesman job and it was a black dude who ran the operation. i felt proud. i later found out im going with this other black dude selling encyclopedia. this was around 1999 or 1998. encyclopedias was already of style. lol i had to follow dude going door to door getting denials from stores. i bumped into a guy i knew and he said ,"you selling encyclopedias " with a funny look in his face. i said no im waiting for someone who is doing it and not me. i quit that day.

3 selling tv service to hospital patients lasted one day
i was a trainee and this older dominican dude watched over me as i would go in a patient's hospital room to collect money for tv. this jewish lady was nice to me and then i fuck up on my slip and thought she owe money. she started barking at me. finally, the dominican dude drove me home and parked the car saying he knows it wont work out. he talked about he could've made money selling drugs. dude was torn cause he trying to do right thing but not making money.

I worked at a Rhodes Furniture distribution center :smh: that shit was the worst 3 days ever and my back was sore as fuck for about a week

Target warehouse load/unload and sort. 3 days then I was out, fuck a exit interview.

Had many jobs/hustles first 2 years of college but this by far was THE worst one. Did UPS seasonal work at one time too. Target made UPS seem like cake!

In the Summertime

In Florida

NEVER AGAIN:smh:

Did that shit for 5 months in Texas when I first got out of the military....Hot as hell but they kept the cold ones handy and it was a cash under the table job.

Brick Masonry.... A plastics factory... and FedEx Hub in Memphis. (Should've stayed... I would've been 9 years in). :smh:

I worked at a Rhodes Furniture distribution center :smh: that shit was the worst 3 days ever and my back was sore as fuck for about a week

Oh snap forgot about that... I worked at the Rhode's furniture store for 3 months right after high school. Shit, was mad easy... flipping Persian rugs. Easiest 400/week I ever earned in my life. ... Shit even took some and sold them to middle eastern and CAC customers on the low. Made at least 1800 of that hustle.

They were bought out by Rooms To Go. :hmm:

All took place in either highschool or college:

AMC - Concessions: Overzealous CAC manager. I knew I'd have a problem with his bitch ass from the training session. He made sure I was aware of the theft policy! They started me on a Friday night! Shit was crazy! Folk that came in my line got the hook up cause I was like :hmm: after a few hrs!

Jasons Deli - another Punk ass CAC, said he'd bring me in as a manager, but put me on the serving line! Went to lunch, ate some free shit then bounced on they ass!

UPS - didn't make it through training. Out side of prison, that shit is slavery!

Doing telemarketer work for the Georgia FOP. I lasted all of two days. Cold calling folks at dinnertime wasn't for me.

Also lasted about a week and a half at my first job working at Krystal's

Worked 2 days at O'charleys when I was in high school. They started me on a saturday, 5 till close, washing dishes. Worked hard as hell that night with NO help. The next night was even busier. Man them servers and kitchen staff were bringing back all them damn dishes and containers of half eaten stinky ass food...piled high! It was 1 AM on a sunday night and I had to go to school the next day and these mf's still didn't try to help me in the kitchen. I took my apron off, dipped out the back door and walked 3 miles back to the crib in the middle of the night.

Ya'll don't know real hard work...

When I was 16 during the summer break all my friends were gone all day working on farms way out of town.
You went to a bus terminal and they picked you up with big school buses and dropped you at the farm for the day.

I decided to go check it out, went there first day, got picked to go uproot bad seeds.

Man that shyt was pure slavery, the rows were like over half a mile long and we had to remain crouched down all the way, my back was killing me after 30 min. :smh:

The worst was this old Haitian man straight from the boat, all of us were young except him so we all talked and decided to go at the same pace, eaaasy

The white man kept lording over us but he could not say shit because we were all going the same pace, that old fool would not listen and he kept going fast, so fast that by the time we reached halfway he was on his was back another row :hmm:

We tried to threaten him but to no avail :lol:he was so happy to have a job.

I quit after the lunch break, went to a big rock and slept until the bus came back to pick us up.

I worked as a Vacuum Salesman (electrolux)
When I was 22 Years Old one Summer
Shit wasn't for me. They would scam old people
into buying 600 Bucks worth of carpet cleaning electronics
Quit after 5 Days

you talking about up in Kennesaw?

I thought the only mountains we had round these parts was Stone Mountain. Shit looked like I was reaching past Rome or something. At the time I was just happy to get a job but I realized I didn't have enough cash for gas or the bus to take me until I got a check.

I kinda wish I could find a warehouse job but I know no one would hire me.

Damn man...my pride always kicked in...I would get the best of a job before it got me...and I've worked some shitty jobs as an adult...UPS...brick masonry...fuckin delivering newspapers out the trunk...I think the shortest stay @ a job was driving taxi...I quit that shit after a week...too dangerous and the pay wasn't worth it

This warehouse distribution center gig I got through the student services during college. Basically it was straight loading 18 wheelers all day by hand. Dudes that have worked at UPS think they have it bad, try working at one of Wal Mart's distribution centers during holiday season. And I don't just mean Christmas either, I mean ANY holiday. They have one person running 3 lanes loading 3 trucks at once and that freight is moving crazy fast.

On top of that they had shit that clearly said "team lift" on the box that you were supposed to have help with that you had to lift yourself otherwise you'd get behind. Nigga, lawn mowers, car batteries, patio sets...you have to be a MAN to do that shit in the summer time when those trailers are 120 degrees on the inside. FUCK THAT..that shit there made me realize how important it was to graduate.

Worked at a chocolate factory on sum " I Love Lucy " shit whit a bunch of Vietnamese women.
It was a temp to hire weststaff gig.
Got into it whit a lady that worked there 18years cuz she didn't like how I was putting the candy bars in a cylinder.
As if it was a science or analytical method to the shit. I lasted three days.

I have two

Worked for an aircraft company in Alabama....Alabama need I say more!

Engineer for automobile company in Georgia. Very hot plant, very high turnover, and the manager was a super asshole. Mofo told us if we didn't like working on Sat. we need to find a new line of work! I accidently cut my hand at home, went to the doctor to get stitches and the mofo still wanted to see a doctors note!

Telemarketer for local newspaper. Worked that job for one day. Telemarketing sucks.

I came in here thinking this has never happened to me but I now remember I too quit telemarketing after one day...

While I didn't quit after one day, I've personally seen UPS claim a few niggas on day one easy.

I was in between jobs about 5 years ago and I did training for a supervisor position at a call center for 5 weeks, nothing I've ever done before, and the very day we hit the floor and I saw how the calls came in and how you end up on the phone for long periods of time with customers, I went to lunch and never went back. They kept calling and calling for me to come back asking what was wrong, and I never would go back. I sent a friend of mine to go pick up my check.

And to this day, when I call in to places and I know it's a call center per se, I try to be very nice, because I know that job is no joke.

Sophamore year in college, Dishwasher at Ryans Steakhouse.... washing dishes, pots and pans in a fucking buffet steakhouse!!

First day on the job was on a Sunday, last day on the job was that same Sunday.... I made it through till my 15 minute lunch break though.
