Because Comcast introduced some speed technology that supposidly increases iyour download/upload speed for a very very very short period of time. Just long enough to do a speed test. It makes the test results inaccurate, and people happy. I think I did hear that they did introduce truly faster dl/ul but as u know the north gets everything 1st.
