question, if my download speed is 28.97mbps, why when i download movies with jdownloader, the files download at about 4mbps?

^^ because that reading is in megabits(Mb) not megabytes(MB). So it takes eight megabytes to make one megabit; 28 / 8 = 3.5(Megabytes) so you're are roughly getting the correct download speed.

Naw, if you're paying for 28Mbps service then 4 MBps is pretty much at the cap if you want faster you have to upgrade your package.
 
so glad i told comcast to "go fuck yourself" I'm saving money with fios and getting a faster speed
